Paradise  #6 :D Top 10 for sure this week (and next!!!)

I wouldn't say it's for sure but I think it has a decent shot at it now :D

EDIT: It's now up to #5, overtaking Lloyd - but this may just be another one of Lloyd's weird blips, I wouldn't be surprised if he re-overtakes them again. Wishing On A Star now down to #8 (Lego House overtaking to #7) :D I really hope 'Take Care' is #11 at the time when WOAS drops out. Or Earthquake. Just not Down For Whatever thanks.

Wow the top 10 is so exciting right now. So many movers etc

The top 40 should be interesting too, with hopefully a whole load of xmas songs

If T-Pain can't get a #1 with "I'm On A Boat" then I hope he doesn't get one at all :P to be fair, I wasn't that fond of "5 O'Clock" when I heard it but it's a bit different and anything selling well enough to go top 5 is fine by me in such a drab sales week.

Oh now this is promising. :D

'212' to become the 'Do It Like A Dude' of 2011/2012. It's also a far superior track to that of Jessie J. It also bodes well for Azealia Banks being top 5 in the BBC Sound of 2012 poll. :D

Is this a remix? I don't recall there being a featured artist on this.

In any case :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I can see this becoming a massive hit in the new year.

Amy Winehouse  #15 - It will probably start dropping before going top 10 though

Has she got any pr... oh.

Eight Christmas entries in the top 40 now (including two versions each of AIWFCIY and FONY) and Shakin' Stevens at #41. Slade at #31, really hope they make the top 40 this week :D The second best Christmas song after FONY in my opinion.

Nope, I think Lazy J helped produce the track and he appears in the video also. I really do hope it becomes big, but I do worry about it's explicity holding it back :(

Maybe she'll make an 'uber-clean radio edit' like Cee Lo and Lloyd :P But in all seriousness, that's a good point, the lyrics aren't gonna help it pick up airplay. She seems to be doing pretty well on hype alone so far though (up to #109 now).

Mariah is close to the top 10 with her two versions combined (although most of the songs up there also have multiple versions) and The Pogues are comfortably top 20. It'd be great if The Pogues could get #17 or higher this week, matching or beating their 2010 peak despite being at a massive disadvantage compared to the other Christmas songs (most of which should also easily beat their 2010 peaks this week).

Flo Rida is now falling away from Olly again. T-Pain at 80.8% and close to overtaking Jessie. I think he'll be #1 this time tomorrow :D

It would be remarkable if Paradise can go top 5 next week if performed on the xFactor.

Sales are bound to be even worse than they are this week (bar the #1 obviously) so I wouldn't rule out it getting all the way to #2 assuming they perform 'Paradise' and not 'Charlie Brown' :o

In unrelated news Mariah's 59p version is now higher than the 99p one. Hopefully the 99p one will plummet now and The Pogues will still end up ahead in the official chart this week (they have a third version top 200 which could be helping them quite a bit given how low sales are).

Wizzard have overtaken MC as the top single Christmas song right now but MC is the highest combined and I'm sure both versions which currently underneath will jump over

Shakin Stevens  40 :D

The 59p has really helped boost loads of them (plus helped Jealousy & JOH hang around for longer).

Omfg Wizzard, so good to see one of the best Christmas songs doing so well.

Assuming Coldplay do perform "Paradise", it's nice to see them going back to the old days of their lead single peaking at #2

Woo for Wizzard! Great idea to reduce the price, hope to see it back in the top 40 on Sunday :D
keep on sliding X Factor finalists (plus One Direction and JLS). I hope Olly ribs them all about it if he defeats them. They should have put him on the record as well, hell, bring back Leona and throw in Alexandra and really try and polish a turd. It's been a bad year for charity singles!
