Didn't Tulisa's card say Jade/Vibe? Who is Jade?

The Scottish girl that sang Adele's Someone Like You and didn't even make it into the lives.

The Scottish lass isn't it, presumably and not LM Jade!

So pleased Little Mix won, there was no way they couldn't.

Disappointing for Janet she did SO well in the early stages and then never made the final. It also means Daily Star were right with their leak about 'Janet topping the vote every week' and can be trusted in future. B-)

The weird thing about the judges predictions was that they were made at bootcamp, wasn't that BEFORE Little Mix even existed so they were going to be wrong?!!
What on earth did Johnny perform in week three for him to be second, I can't remember...

I Believe In A Thing Called Love! Fair, it was quite the moment.

So what did all the judges predictt?

Kelly: Janet

Gary: Frankie

Louis: Frankie/Janet

Tulisa: Nu Vibe/Jade

Pleased on the whole. This was probably the first series where I liked all three finalists and so anything would have been fine really, but as much as I think Amelia was the best on Saturday, Little Mix were probably the most immediately marketable of the final three and as much as I doubted the hype at times, actually ended up being damn good.

Awful, awful choice of winners single in 'Cannonball' though. Bland song and neither did anything particularly outstanding with it. I imagine it was chosen when it still looked like Janet would win. If anything I think it's a shame Little Mix start off their career on something so sub-par. I really hope they work with Xenomania for the album now.

Coldplay were brilliant. Westlife were nice background music which thankfully didn't distract too much from the VT behind them. The group performance was a fantastic disaster, as was much of the series on the whole.

Drunk Kelly is my favourite Kelly Rowland personality.

I've liked this series on the whole. I'm alone in this opinion I realize.

Yeah, makes sense. Iirc, that was the week when Johnny said "Gary can rub my lamp any time" and won over the crowd for a whole 10 minutes.

INCORRECT. People have whinged INCESSANTLY over what's easily been the best (or, at least, the most agreeable) series in quite a while. The top 6 were fantastic compared with pretty much any year you'd care to name...

I enjoyed it overall as well, Aled. It made a change to have something different/eventful every week after 2 stagnant years in 2009/10.

That top 6 includes Janet Devlin though. So in that case it's on par with 2008 which had a final 6 consist of Alexandra, JLS, Vickers, Lorenzo, the Winehouse wannabe and erm...Eggnog (the Irish lad). Still 4/6 is good. :D

2008 was the other best year, but Eoghan dragged the top 6 down LOADS. Janet, for all her faults, did what she specialised in very well.
I too have enjoyed this year very much. In terms of talent in the live shows, they did very well in cutting down the SHITE that they put through to boot camp and the public voted it down to an incredibly strong final 5. I also thought that the new judges made it a lot more enjoyable after a couple of stagnant years (as much as I do like Dannii/Cheryl/Simon.)
YEAAAH GET f***IN IN :yahoo: :yahoo: Pleased for them and Tulisa too. I would have actually been all for anyone but X factor for Christmas no.1 if it were to be another dull cover by a soloist but the fact LM have won puts that out the window. Little Mix to be number 1 Forever please :D

No 2008 still the best by far

It's been a good year in terms of the contestants, easily the best since 08. People are definitely completely sick of the incessant hype and the press frenzy that surrounds it though and I attribute the drop in ratings to that. What we've seen with the surge of support for Little Mix ever since Don't Let Go is that people really just want to watch a great performance and they don't actually watch for the drama between the judges or any of the other shit. Unfortunately the X Factor doesn't want to acknowledge this and it'll only get more OTT with every passing year.

and the official voting percentages are out!

edit: see the post below for clarification :kink:

close, but still a solid win for Little Mix - I like how they worked their way up from being quite low at the start, Janet of course started strong then lost support continuously, Amelia is the only surprise there - it appears song choice really does matter! Frankie it appears really was just very lucky...

Well I'm glad we got shot of Janet when we did, otherwise she would have made the final. Very interesting how close the final actually was! What week was BULLYGATE btw? I'm sure it was Week 3. Looks like that really effected Misha ...
