December 15, 201114 yr Has anyone not noticed You me @ 6 has re-entered the alist this week after being removed last? Its always nice when radio 1 make surprising editions to the alist for acts that will never get a massive singles chart hit - this week The Black Keys and last Twin Atlantic|!

Its always nice when radio 1 make surprising editions to the alist for acts that will never get a massive singles chart hit - this week The Black Keys and last Twin Atlantic|! How strange, I hadn't noticed that. "Bite My Tongue" is a massive tune, good to see them still being supported.
December 15, 201114 yr Retro 2001: C List * Britney Spears - 'Overprotected'Still one of her most underrated singles! I adore it. Not too surprised at most of them additions. Woo for Little Mix, obviously though. Kelly Clarkson MUST make the C-List at LEAST with 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)' :(
December 15, 201114 yr I'm pleasantly surprised to see it on, especially now since I was sure it was released before the album. It got a US release at least. It's good, but nowhere near as good as "Get Up!" earlier in the year. One of my favourite songs of 2011, even though I know 95% of Buzzjack will hate anything with the description of 'dubmetal' Nice to see Florence playlisted, NLNL is good although it has to be "Spectrum" next. "Ceremonials", while not as eclectic as "Lungs", is really rather good. No Light, No Light is my favourite single off Ceremonials so far. I wasn't a great fan of Shake it Out and What the Water Gave Me (as a promo single) never had the energy of NL x2 so I'm very happy its getting airplay 2001 really had a great mix of Pop, dance, urban and rock didn't it? December 15, 201114 yr Indeed it did - great edition by Badly Drawn Boy too!! :D It is strange about You me @ 6 as it now means there are 20 songs on the alist when there are usually only 19 - must be an error, or maybe theyre just spoiling us over the xmas break to keep us going until January when the playlist usually changes dramatically!!
December 15, 201114 yr Author Sometimes it does increase to 20 songs though. I didnt really check the playlist last week after Wednesday to see if last week's removal of YMA6 was a mistake and they put it back on, or if it was really readded this week, a strange and uber rare thing.
December 15, 201114 yr It must be a mistake, why take it out then put it back on. Its the 20 songs that make me think theres some sort of mistake, they have played it 4 times today though and they seemed to stop playing it last week (i listen to radio 1 in my office)
December 15, 201114 yr Good to see Rizzle Kicks and T-Pain up to the A-List in time for the Christmas freeze. Also great to see 'Pelican' moving up, I really hope this can somehow be a hit for The Maccabees. Mostly uninteresting additions - 'Antidote' is another fantastic single from SHM, I'd love if this could reinstate the phenomenon of the big new year dance hit :D Surprised to see R1 still supporting Lana Del Rey, I know Video Games hardly flopped but I wasn't expecting to see them playlist the follow-up in any case. Lol at Korn.

Its the 20 songs that make me think theres some sort of mistake, they have played it 4 times today though and they seemed to stop playing it last week (i listen to radio 1 in my office) Well then according to what you've heard, they did remove it and put it back on. 20 Songs on the A-list can happen.

December 16, 201114 yr She's ineligible as she's already had a top 20 hit, but if she hadn't she'd be the surefire winner.
December 17, 201114 yr Glad that Born To Die has been playlisted! Love that song! I hope they playlist the new Yasmin single soon but I don't think they will...
December 17, 201114 yr Author She's ineligible as she's already had a top 20 hit, but if she hadn't she'd be the surefire winner. Oh right. Thought she'd make an appearance, but it's not like she needs the extra push.
December 21, 201114 yr Was this the last playlist before the new year? The Radio 2 one has had an update this week but Radio 1's hasn't and usually has by now...
December 21, 201114 yr 6music's has updated as well. Perhaps Radio 1 are too 'hip' to update it before Christmas?
December 21, 201114 yr Was this the last playlist before the new year? The Radio 2 one has had an update this week but Radio 1's hasn't and usually has by now... R1's playlist isn't likely to be updated again until 4th Jan now, like this year, they have a week of the specialist DJ's taking over the week of the 2nd Jan, so it'll be Zane Love at Breakfast, Annie Mac on daytimes, Huw Stephens on Afternoons and Grimmy on drive with evenings shared with 1Xtra I believe.
December 21, 201114 yr Author Was this the last playlist before the new year? The Radio 2 one has had an update this week but Radio 1's hasn't and usually has by now... They always go on a X-mas break, usually for 3 weeks.
