Just got the new Air song, Parade. Not even listened to it before buying as it wasn't on youtube. Fingers crossed it is decent.

That's it :P

(please buy it, it's for a great cause and I sing in the choir)

Done :D

(See, at least someone is listening to you :kink:)

It's a shame a song for such a good cause as this is going to go completely unnoticed while hundreds of thousands buy a single helping people to kill other people  At least the Alex Day single is doing well.

Also added Stacey to my list. Good cover of a decent song and it's also for a good cause (Y) (Why are all the new releases this week charity singles anyway?)

Well actually I bought Wherever We Are because I like the song as opposed to the charities linked to it. But The Royal British Legion provides support and care to ex-servicemen who fought for the country and helped us to win World War II, so I really don't see what's so objectionable about that personally, I buy poppies every year and will continue to do so because I support the reasoning behind them.

Call me uncharitable but I'd never buy a song that I didn't like regardless of the cause it's supporting. I feel no guilt in saying this because I donate and give to multiple charities all year round in various ways.

SSAFA is much the same, to relive distress, need and suffering of current and service personnel.

Actually the insinuation, no strike that, the downright accusation, that the single is helping to kill other people is completely offensive.

Current personnel as in people who are currently in the army and killing or helping to kill other people?

The Royal British Legion is not so bad but I am very strongly opposed to war charities in general.

I sort of agree with what you're saying, but obviously wounded servicemen and women have the right to support and such. I'm not buying Where You Are as I hate the song. The only one I wouldn't support is the Salvation Army as they have protested against gay marriage in the US.

When you receive it, if you haven't already, could you let me know what version of Sober is on it please? :D

Stacey Solomon - Driving Home For Christmas
