Didn't expect True Love Fantasy to get through! :o Pretty pleased with 3 entries in TBO :D
Ria (and lets face it Adaline) hang heads in shame as everyone else somehow qualifies :o

It is remarkable how well you appear to have done in the first stage of the voting. :D

Is there a record for most appearances in TBO final? Imagine if all 8 of your entries made the final. :o

Oh, and I'm happy to have 3 songs go through to the next stage. :D

Unicorn Kid, Kyla La Grange and The Charlies :w00t:

Seyetana went through and Unovia too! :cheer:

Kluminican Republic is a strange one, pretty sure a lot of people predicted it to DNQ in the actual contest itself and then it went on to get a respectable position in it and then making it to the semis in TBO :o

XL:

7 songs qualified from XL, they are, in no particular order:

*

*

*

*

Kyla La Grange - Heavy Stone (Batidas)

Make that four!!! :D

Wow, how very unexpected. Well, I thought I'd maybe get one more through with Agnes but 3. :o

FIVE entries. Insane. I think I only managed to carry TWO songs into the semis (and fail to qualify, Adele aside) max!

A lot of people gave Unicorn Kid 12s though, so I'm not overly surprised. Songs which gained a lot of high points in the monthly contests would be at an advantage. Cady got lots of high points too, so I think that's why she got through.

anyone wanna help me decided between two entries for the next contest

helpers will be given a hug and a pat on the back BY QUEEN CHINA HERSELF :)

I have yet to receive a 12 pointer from anyone though

Alright then! :P Seeing as Calling All The Monsters is my favourite entry of yours!

I think Adaline and Ria finishing 14th and 21st instead of their original 9th and 18th proves that people were voting for the songs here and that I wasn't immune to doing badly, so I'm glad that my entries that qualified did because people love them!

Realistically though, as nice as it is to have 5 entries going to the next stage (and 3 already in the final) and appreciate all of the votes, I doubt many will go further. I've had 4 songs in TBO final before, a couple of times I think, Mdice may have had more I can't remember...

edit: scrap that, I've just checked and I had 5 entries in the 2009 TBO final - 2009 was arguably my 'golden period' though  Those five songs were Uh Huh Her - Not A Love Song, Beautiful Small Machines - Robots In Love, Anna Abreu - Music Everywhere, Emiliana Torrini - Jungle Drum and Blank feat Young Ivy - I'm Going For Your Brother.

Alright then! :P Seeing as Calling All The Monsters is my favourite entry of yours!

ok i'll pm you the songs in a bit. also china is on her way by teleportation :o the monsters from harry potter world helped her to master magic :o

Blank feat Young Ivy - I'm Going For Your Brother <--- brings back memories :D

I remember putting that in my own chart based on discovering the track via your chart at the time.

'Jungle Drum' I don't think I've ever heard 'Not A Love Song' though.

My beloved Same Difference qualified. Even WITHOUT me voting (so getting a 7pt deduction). Will try to find time to vote in the semis though!

I think I remember that too! Back in the CHC days of course when you had no idea what BJSC was! :D Such a 'cool' song, I stumbled across it on MySpace somehow and it's become a bonafide Rontvian classic

Not A Love Song was a winner, not an overly memorable one and I admit it's not one of the best songs I've ever sent but I still like it a lot. Check out the rest of the top ten from BJSCXIV though and you might see how it managed to win, talk about the worst top ten ever by FAR, cheap isn't even the word...

Wasn't I in some way vaguely blamed for that due to my cheap success?

I'm aware I could've gotten the completely wrong end of the stick here, but if so it's somewhat Ironic that I began my extended absence from BJSC from that pont

 I used to find your chart fascinating on ChC purely because there was always loads of songs I'd never heard of appearing every week. Of course that's changed since I became a bonafide Buzzjacker. :P Now I can say I'm more familiar with most songs in your chart. :D

As for BJSC XIV, this was the top 10:

1st. FSR Rontvia - Uh Huh Her - Not A Love Song - 157

2nd. Quotosibb - September - Can't Get Over - 151

3rd. FNT Nickodonia - Velvet - Take My Body Close - 149

4th. Angelicland - The Veronicas - Untouched - 147

5th. Botanikka - Enrique Iglesias and Ciara - Takin' Back My Love - 141

6th. Hendinia - Noisettes - Don't Upset The Rhythm - 130

7th. Mdice - Lady Sovreign - So Human - 124

8th. Lorikeet - VV Brown - Leave! - 121

9th. Scherzland - Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone - 116

10th. Dalisska - Marie Mai - Emenne-Moi - 112

I had a :D moment seeing someone enter 'Trick Me' by Kelis. I bet that was a real discovery!!! From that list, I'd have to say kudos to Hendinia as The Noisettes track is my fave track in that top 10.
