I'm not a fan of Coldplay but I would prefer them to climb to #1 than MW get it again :puke: such a depressing song, it's a good thing it raised the money it needed to but 1 week at #1 is enough. Hopefully Coldplay can get replaced by something next week but apart from Taio Cruz nothing else is out, so 2 weeks at #1 on low sales is a possibilty.

I dont think it deserves top 10 tbh. Its fairly weak and i find it kind of annoying. TTT should have been released as the 2nd single

 

Talk that Talk is a weak album as a whole. Probably her worst since Music of the Sun but I've promised myself I would re-evaluate it on CD instead of just going by spotify and my comp speakers.

Maybe Flo Rida will have closed the gap with Coldplay by next week, so it's possible he could climb there. I hope Coldplay get it this week though.

 

I really like Rihanna's album personally. My favourite songs from it at the moment (I'll probably have changed my mind this time next year after I've overplayed them all) are Talk That Talk and Farewell (which sounds like Nicole Scherzinger's next single imo).

You're right there (from what I've heard of it anyway). That's why it is the only Rihanna album I haven't bought since MOTS. I've bought all of her other albums from 2006's A Girl Like Me to last year's Loud but TTT doesn't appeal to me (at the moment) despite my obsession with 'We Found Love'.

I still think that people are underestimating MW for a 2nd week personally - the sheer amount of shoppers around this week for the sales(wont be quite as big as last week but significant to say the least)will mean it will sell at least 40k cds and on top of that maybe 20-25k in downloads.....thats 65-70k overall, i think coldplay will have sold 20-25k up to tuesdays mids which will be 60-65k overall!

I can see Coldplay at #1 with Little Mix and Military Wives rounding off the top 3.

Looks like LMFAO will chart at around no20-25 on Sunday an entry at 50 and 30 on itunes - means theyll sell around 20k MAX which means theyll fall short of a million copies for the year by 5-20k f***!!!!!!!!!!!!

'You da 1' is such a grower, it takes 5 or 6 listens but it does work its way into your brain eventually. Luckily for Rihanna it will get more than enough radio and video play to grow on people. Top 15 this week, then top 10 next week when video play kicks in properly and all novelty songs with cd sales are gone.

'You Da One' I have a really strange love/hate relationship with. At times I think it's one of the worst and most annoying things she's recorded but at other times I think it's a brilliant, catchy number. It's definitely the grower though.

It doesn't look like Play has updated since Christmas. Its full of Nirvana and Lou Monte still.

 

As for Amazon I'm unsure. They list it as both as an album and a song. #10 in mp3 albums, #1 in mp3 songs
