I've always said that I honestly don't think he'll fall much past #5, if he even does, that's assuming it's fairly cheap which given there will be loads of stock places can't sell for another 11 months or so, is a fair assumption to make. If it's available for a fiver or less in a lot of places I can see a lot of people who don't have it picking it up. I'm 100% certain my Mum will buy it next week anyway.

Far from it, the "iTunes voucher effect" can make the week after Christmas one of the biggest sales weeks of the year (especially for singles)

It's also what I would call an awful album... I bought it for my mum as an early Christmas present, she loves it but it's dreadful!

 

Same here my Mum loves him too, fair play though - at least we have another million seller to help this year recover.

 

Funny how in Nov/Dec all the big albums are 9.99 whereas new releases throughout the year can be around 7.99 - taking advantage of the season!! I dont blame them though people who buy albums at xmas are never in the store the other 10 months of the year!!

People will still buy it, especially if it is reduced in price. "Oooo looks it's £5, that will do for next Christmas". People buy Christmas cards on Boxing Day for the following year, I don't see why people won't do the same for this if it's reduced in price!

Everyone will return their copies (each copy will be classed as about -1.5 copies as they are returns? :lol:) as Christmas will be over and they will no longer need them? :P Clearly didn't think that one out.

Looking forward to seeing this have a real chance at no1 next christmas too - wait and see!!

There's no way he's gonna drop that much - Even if his sales drop 90%, that'll still leave him with over 30k - good enough for T5 post-Xmas. It'll be the week after that he'll really plummet...
