December 25, 201114 yr What are the odds that Flo Rida's Good Feeling is #7 2-3-4-5-6-7 A record of a kind?
December 25, 201114 yr Happy days GD, ill be on here for the chart IF i get my dinner finished before then. Will be interesting to see how many xmas songs have snuck in in the past 48 hours and wonder when we will get sales?!!
December 25, 201114 yr What are the odds that Flo Rida's Good Feeling is #7 2-3-4-5-6-7 A record of a kind? I think it has a pretty good chance. I don't think it'd be a record though, it seems fairly implausible that in nearly 60 years of charts and over 3,000 weeks something like that would never have happened! I shall provide the usual recaps every 5 songs. I'm going to look at the chart spoilers when they're posted but I shan't spoil anything for anyone here :P Edited December 25, 201114 yr by Michael Bubré
December 25, 201114 yr I've got over a third of the charts digitised and can't find a similar (or even another 2-3-4-5-6) at present, so it would be a nice sequence, but I'd fail to see it as a "record" of any description.
December 25, 201114 yr What are the odds that Flo Rida's Good Feeling is #7 2-3-4-5-6-7 A record of a kind? Doubtful, was top 5 most of the week, prob be at 5 - then 3 next week! Any retros anyone?A special xmas retro with the best top 10s would be awesome! ;)
December 25, 201114 yr Author Doubtful, was top 5 most of the week, prob be at 5 - then 3 next week! Any retros anyone?A special xmas retro with the best top 10s would be awesome! ;) I'll put retros up, give me five minutes!
December 25, 201114 yr I'm also going to debut the NEW LAYOUT of my chart recaps (I like to change it occasionally so it doesn't get boring :kink:) Example using last week's #21: > #21 [down from #9] > JESSIE J > “Who You Are” [5th single from “Who You Are” (TW: #19)] > 40-50-x(29)-88-x(1)-97-83-56-59-28-37-8-9-21- > 6 weeks top 40 > 12 weeks top 100 Edited December 25, 201114 yr by Michael Bubré
December 25, 201114 yr It doesn't feel right that there should be a chart on today. Why not? It's a Sunday :P

December 25, 201114 yr What does TW #19 mean? This week's position for the parent album. (Well, last week's in the example of course). I can get rid of that if it's too confusing :P Edited December 25, 201114 yr by Michael Bubré
December 25, 201114 yr Doubtful, was top 5 most of the week, prob be at 5 - then 3 next week! It was #8 on Friday
December 25, 201114 yr Ah, I understand. I never pay any attention to album charts. I've decided to stop doing that anyway, the recap is already a bit overcrowded as it is :P
December 25, 201114 yr Author My retro comments; 2010; 02. (2) Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name 05. (5) Ellie Goulding - Your Song 06. (7) Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) 07. (6) Take That - The Flood 08. (12) Katy Perry - Firework 10. (11) Far East Movement feat Cataracs & Dev - Like A G6 2006; 01. (-) Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This Adore this, still my favourite X Factor winner's single, Leona's voice amazed me 02. (1) Take That - Patience 04. (50) Girls Aloud - I Think We're Alone Now Huge climb, ah 2006, as with every GA release I can recall the fans being concerned that this might miss the top ten at the time. It came nowhere close to missing it but it was far from their finest hour. 05. (4) Cascada - Truly Madly Deeply 2001; 01 (1) Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman - Somethin' Stupid 02 (-) Gordon Haskell - How Wonderful You Are Strange that this was the only top ten new entry in Xmas week, I wonder why with such low sales for #1 and realistic chances of getting an 'easy' Xmas #1 barely any acts decided to release anything to compete? I really disliked this song and still do 03 (2) Daniel Bedingfield - Gotta Get Thru This 04 (3) Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dancefloor 06 (7) S Club 7 - Have You Ever Reclimbing in Xmas week? A stocking filler of the time perhaps? 07 (5) Ian Van Dahl - Will I 10. (10) Hermes House Band - Country Roads 1996; 01. (-) Spice Girls - 2 Become 1 Gorgeous song, the finest of their Xmas #1's but I loved the other two as well, ballads were definitely their strong point and how many girl bands can say that? 03. (-) Madonna - Don't Cry For Me Argentina 05. (3) Robert Miles feat Maria Nayler - One & One Love that this was top five for Xmas! 06. (4) Boyzone - A Different Beat 10. (11) The Beautiful South - Don't Marry Her
December 25, 201114 yr I'm also going to debut the NEW LAYOUT of my chart recaps (I like to change it occasionally so it doesn't get boring :kink:) Example using last week's #21: > #21 [down from #9] > JESSIE J > “Who You Are” [5th single from “Who You Are” (TW: #19)] > 40-50-x(29)-88-x(1)-97-83-56-59-28-37-8-9-21- > 6 weeks top 40 > 12 weeks top 100 Hmm, a bit messy. Your old one was better.
December 25, 201114 yr Hmm, a bit messy. Your old one was better. Does it look any better in the normal size? > #21 [ from #9] > JESSIE J > “Who You Are” [5th single from “Who You Are”] > 40-50-x(29)-88-x(1)-97-83-56-59-28-37-8-9-21- > 6 weeks top 40 > 12 weeks top 100 I do see what you mean, I'll try and play around with it a bit to make it look better.
