December 25, 201114 yr Author Wonder if without the 59p effect most of these could have hovered between 41-60 like last year? Wonder how high The Pogues ended up.Wonder if you could say that Wizzard is more popular than Slade after all these years even tho slade won the original battle?? Looks like they're about as popular as each other now all things considered, even if Wizzard do always seem to appear a bit higher up these days... Didn't expect to see Chris Rea re-enter

December 25, 201114 yr :o He slipped in, pity no new peak - think this got to no33 in 2007 or something!! Will the chart runs be fixed at some stage for this weeks thread?(sorry to be an annoyance)
December 25, 201114 yr Good to see Wizzard staying top 40 as well. And Chris Rea - close to the #33 peak he managed in '07. He's gone top 40 in '07, '09 and '11 now - he'll miss out next year and rechart again in '13 maybe? I suppose the Stacey version has helped it a lot this year.

Didn't expect to see Chris Rea re-enter  Think Wizzard sell a few thousand more each year - i guess Slade were the bigger band back at the time - also like slade better too...speaking of sales - if the Pogues have sold as much this year as last(90k) and do the same next xmas they could become a million seller in 2012!!!! :yahoo: Edited December 25, 201114 yr by steve201
