Wow at both Kelly and The Wanted. It looked as if Kelly's relevance was coming to an end in the US but back she comes with another mega smash :o

And ha at The Wanted beating JLS and One Direction to the punch with what looks like it might be a sizeable US hit! It's vaguely surprising, just because I'd have expected them to be least likely of the three acts to get one, but then some of the big 90s UK boybands had one token US hit - Take That's Back For Good, 5ive's When The Lights Go Out and a few others, and the US seem more open to British music again now than they did then.

Kelly Clarkson is about to get to #1! :o Maybe she'll make if officially over Adele next week. I'm sure Turn Me On will get it at some point too, probably after it gets its music video. That said, Lighters got to #1 on iTunes before its music video AND it got to #1 on airplay, and somehow managed to peak only at #4, so we can never know...

I love the longevity Rack City is showing. I thought it was drop out after the hype. The US radio stations aren't playing it that much, but hopefully they'll see how popular it is and play it more. Infact, I love the general amount of variety in the US charts atm.

Really happy with how well Kelly Clarkson is doing both in US and in UK with her new single. :D

Set Fire To The Rain is way ahead of her on airplay though, and still selling so incredibly at #3 on iTunes. Has to be her 3rd US #1. Where is the video?

I think she'll perform it at The Grammys too surely which is next month when by that time it'll probably be #1 on Radio! That will be a HUGE performance.

I don't think there's been any information on the video since the last 500 times you asked where it was.

The Wanted at #41. Ellie at #103, #201 and #724. Top 100 tomorrow at the latest I think.

I don't think there's been any information on the video since the last 500 times you asked where it was.

Its a rhetorical question, we're seeing it do so so well, and there is still no video, it just confuses me why they arent putting one out there, I know Adele's been ill, but from what I hear shes recovered well thankfully, and a video out now, or if they need more time February would be a good time (brits/grammys) Its just needed! Its just so late, especially for UK, still its sold half a million copies nearly in UK and doing incredibly in US, just a video for it would be the icing on the cake. :P

Yes, it's a bit late isn't it? There's no news of a video and we probably won't even get one in the end. I don't see the point in bringing it up repeatedly, "rhetorical question" or not.

OH WELL she's #1 anyway. Hurrah, where is the video, etc.

"With "21" at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 four another four weeks as of this week, "Fire" (Adele's third career Hot 100 topper) makes the set the first to have led the Billboard 200 concurrently with three Hot 100 No. 1s."

New Digital Songs top 10:

1 [7] David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On 198k (up 44%) [first digital #1 for both acts + I think Nicki's first #1 ever anywhere*]

2 [1] Adele - Set Fire To The Rain 185k (down 4%)

3 [11] Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) 175k (up 48%)

4 [3] Tyga - Rack City 148k (down 11%)

5 [2] Flo Rida - Good Feeling 142k (down 21%)

6 [6] Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love 140k (up <1%)

7 [4] LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It 134k (down 14%)

8 [5] Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa feat. Bruno Mars - Young, Wild & Free 134k (down 11%)

9 [16] Jessie J - Domino 122k (up 25%) :cheer:

10 [14] Katy Perry - The One That Got Away 117k (up 9%) [boosted by acoustic version]

45k gap between Adele and Rihanna, making for another nailbitingly close battle looking at the airplay chart. Come on Adele, get to #1 for at least a week before Guetta and/or Kelly block you from it :(

Although she's already got a week at #1 on the more representative chart I suppose, even if it can't get #1 on the 'official' chart.

*on a singles chart

-x-

In other news;

 1. What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) - Kelly Clarkson

Way better #1 than the average-as 'Turn Me On' :cheer: Would prefer Adele to still be there but hey.

Paradise back in the top 20 (at #20) :D And Princess Of China now up to #77 :w00t: The latter to eventually be a second H100 #1 for Coldplay please.

Ooft. Excellent for her. :o It's also another record we can add to her record-breaking era!

Kelly the greatest digital seller gainer in the top 10! :D

And Jessie's got her first top 10. I need the full chart now.
OH WELL she's #1 anyway. Hurrah, where is the video, etc.

Well they've posted this report unnaturally early today - I made my last post under the assumption it wouldn't be announced until like 9pm like usual!

Fantastic news :w00t: Nice new record as well but new chart records are like a DAILY occurrence for Adele so it's not exactly surprising to see them any more. How many more chart records will fall or be created by Adele

I really, really want to see a list of all the records Adele has broken. It must be incredibly long at this stage. And that's just going by UK, USA and the world as a whole. Who knows how many records she's broken in other individual countries.

At least the USA have good taste in Adele and her #1s.

#11 in the UK - Grrrrr!

Lol no need to be rude. If i want to talk about where the video is, I will do.

I'm genuinely baffled by why we havent got it yet.

:w00t: Wow, incredible news! Seriously amazing for Adele, just adore this song.

Adele just keeps breaking records after records. :o

So happy for Adele. Airplay is on the up, but I don't know how many weeks it can stay at #1. The 2 big threats (Guetta/Minaj and Kelly C) are less than 50mil on radio so hopefully SFTTR should stay at #1 for a few more weeks on the strength of airplay, and then the Grammys will hopefully boost the sales for a bit. A four week #1 will be nice!
Ellie goulding up to 87 on the BB100! :)

That was last week :P The Hot 100 hasn't yet been posted in full for this week.

Well she's just broken the top 100 on iTunes anyway! Also at 204 and 655.
