One Direction down to #13.

The Wanted up to #14.

 

I'm pleased TW managed to climb back up this high. I know it fell to #31 due to Grammys/Whitney, but it still had its work cut out to "recover", so to speak. It was nearly 20 places behind 1D a few days ago, now just 1.

 

 

Gotye can hopefully get back into the top 10 soon, followed by The Wanted if they continue to climb!

Why is When I'm Gone by Wiz Khalifa at #43? I noticed it's been climbing for a few days now, but it just keeps on going and going! :lol:

 

It's a really good song, and it went top 20 on US iTunes the week he released his album (around this time last year) probably because it was the first track on the album I think.

Calvin is at #122, #500 and #534. Rising really nicely so far. Ellie's at #107, #404 and oh that's it. Whatevs. M.I.A is at #375 so yeah she's just on a constant descent I guess. Maybe there's still hope for Bad Girls. Jessie's back up to #21 with Domino so it's not quite as dead as I thought. Christina Perri seems to be dropping again. :(

 

And that's my random roundup of people I like (and Jessie J for no real reason) for the day.

I've always found MIA a bunch of hype, the only reason that "Bad girls" got into the iTunes 100 was because of the SB appearance.

Great to see The Wanted overtaking One Direction and only one place away from their iTunes peak of #12 again. Really hope it can crack the top 10 after Glee.

I hope Gotye, DG/Nicki and The Wanted can all somehow climb into the top 10 replacing LMFAO and maybe a couple of Adele tracks. They all deserve to be massive, and the top 10 needs some refreshing!!

Glee airs Tuesday night at 8pm in the US so we could start seeing some effect from around 2am Wednesday UK time.

 

Adore Glad You Came but I prefer What Makes You Beautiful and I hope we get some airplay updates for it soon and that it won't continue to drop for long.

TBH, I'm not really that much worried about 1D because they seem to have built massive hype in the US, and judging by how the album and single have done elsewhere, they will get American success. The Wanted on the other hand - GYC is a great song but they don't have the kind of backing 1D have in terms of promotion, plus I don't even know what the follow up will be. "One thing" sounds suitably made for US radio, infact sounds like a 2012 versoin of a Backstreet Boys song.

Sorry, I took your comment seriously. I don't know... I feel about MIA what I feel about Bjork... I just don't *get* them. Having said that, let me give the song another shot! :)
