T-Pain.

Let the Buzzjack meltdown begin. :drama: Seriously, it's not the worst song of the decade!! Come on!

You're not the only one that thinks that some of David Guetta's recent music sounds like Coldplay:

Hmm, can't say I'm surprised, although Titanium?! Really?

The Without You chorus reminds me of the general feel from Mylo Xyloto (which I got this week :D ) but a dancier version. Sadly, I don't think Mr. Guetta pulled it off because Without You leaves me feeling bored.

Leona Lewis actually had more airplay than Pixie with 2 weeks before the single release, Pixie peaked the following week she got at number one. Obviously the radio know which single is better. ^_^

I'm extremely sure the stats show that Pixie was receiving far more airplay than Leona in the run up to their releases. Pixie was top 50 while Leona wasn't even top 100...

But if you wish to be a blind Pixie stan, be my guest.

Also, you trust radio's judgement? Radio 1 b-listed 'Swagger Jagger' yet snubbed 'Moves Like Jagger'. Says it all...

Album Discussion Here

T-Pain.

Let the Buzzjack meltdown begin. :drama: Seriously, it's not the worst song of the decade!! Come on!

I want to like it because T-Pain can be good (hell, "I'm On A Boat" is one of my favourite songs) but I just can't, I find it completely terrible.

13 songs in and there are already 2 artists with multiple chart entries in 2012 (one of which has 3 entries and will get a 4th before 7pm)

'Marry You' has had incredible longevity for a song that hasn't even got a video. Very similar situation to Set Fire To The Rain actually. Except SFTTR has actually become a hit in the USA as well :P

No of course not. LMFAO have got that contest pretty well wrapped up already.

Hmm, can't say I'm surprised, although Titanium?! Really?

The Without You chorus reminds me of the general feel from the new album (which I got this week :D ) but a dancier version. Sadly, I don't think Mr. Guetta pulled it off because Without You leaves me feeling bored.

I don't like Without You either. It should be more chorus and less verse imo, and I've always said it's just like an inferior version of Titanium.

I think Bray pointed out the obvious Coldplay/David Guetta comparison though, being When Love Takes Over and Clocks.

David Guetta may aswell just remix their songs and keep their vocals tbh.

I'm Mars-ed out. I doubt even Veronica Mars could ease this Mars clog, not even the chocolate bar.

The chorus just makes me want to listen to "Dancing In The Moonlight" instead

Haha! I know, I get the same from it!

My first time here in ages! Lost interest in the charts last year but going to try to tune in every week this year....

Another graduate of the BRIT performing arts school (as is Leona Lewis, Katie Melua, Amy Winehouse, Kate Nash...), Londoner Adele Adkins was voted the hotest new talent in the BBC's 'Sound for 2008' poll. Her acclaimed soul-pop debut album, 19, was released on XL and was preceded by the massive hit single "Chasing Pavements". Adele won the 2008 Brit Award for Critics Choice. - HMV

The lyrics to 'Marry You' actually anger me, but 'The Lazy Song' angers me on a whole different level. :( Aside from this I don't particularly have anything against Bruno Mars.
No of course not. LMFAO have got that contest pretty well wrapped up already.

What about What Makes You Beautiful? An attractive boyband telling girls that what makes them beautiful is being physically beautiful with low self esteem?

'Someone Like You' back in at #27 and probably adding another 20k+ to its tally which is already above 1.2m. All of this in 49 weeks and without ever going lower than #56. Incredible.
David Guetta may aswell just remix their songs and keep their vocals tbh.

That sounds awful, but people would still buy it!

Speaking of which, Someone Like You now... First time I've ever heard it...

... surely everyone in the UK has downloaded it/ has it on the album by now? I used to love it but it's been completely ruined for me by complete overplay.
