Queen Greatest hits album have probably sold over 6 million by now. So whether she beats that or not is another thing.

She'll definitely reach that figure in the future, 21 will be the biggest album of all time in the UK. She's already nearly at 4 million and thats in one year, in another year or maybe two she'll sell another 2 million. 1. 21 Hasnt even gone on deals yet (reduction in price). 2. We still have the Brit Awards she'll win big at. 3. Its still at #6 and has never left the top UK album chart. (so will probably be top 40 all of 2012 who knows how long it can still stay top 10, and top 20 for that matter!) 4. The next album she releases, whenever it will be, will boost 21 sales even further (like 19). It has everything in its favour, she's created a musical masterpiece and cemented herself in the music history books.

Olly Murs is still doing so well with Heart Skips A Beat & Dance With Me Tonight. He doesnt need another single till February really. He has a good chance winning at the Brits i think.

Domino very close to going to #12 :)
I don't think she'll get anywhere near the success of the '21' era but I think she'll still have enormous success regardless of how much she delays the album (unless a la Amy Winehouse it gets released in a nowhere-near-finished form posthumously - I know that's a morbid thought but you never know what could happen in the future).

That's not just a morbid thought, it's a completely unnecessary one. Adele has no addiction issues, well apart from nicotine unfortunately, so to speculate upon her death in that manner seems rather nasty to me.

Bray didnt mean it in a horrible way, he's right you never know what is going to happen, you hope it isnt going to happen but there arent any guarantee's in life for anyone unfortunately :(

Domino looks likely to be pretty big for Jessie, and help Who You Are go near that 1million mark (800,000+ at the moment)

I'd prefer Domino to go top 10 then Taio.

Disagree with that. I've heard '21' a few times and it was the dullest, most depressing thing I ever heard in my life. The three singles are fairly good (although ruined by airplay), but the album as a whole was quite boring for me.

We'll see that's debatable. I saw her weekly sales once at about 23,000 a few months back then of course then it rose because of Christmas. Those other albums are still selling too.

Will she beat the worldwide sales of Michael Jackson's Thriller? I guess that's her next target isn't it?

Can I ask how old you are? Not in a negative way, and there are always excpetions in generalisations, but i think it tends to be a favourite with older people, or people who really connect with the record as a whole throug their experiences.

Ofcourse not everyone will be a fan of it, like everything in life. :heehee:

I wish I knew how many times i've played each song of 21, RITD, TT, SLY and SFTTR must be in the hundreds, who knows maybe even thousands by now  Airplay hasnt killed them for me in the slightest.

Yeah its all debatable, as its all speculation, but i just see everything in her favour. And also, I think it could beat Thriller, but who knows, only time will tell. Its had a great start in this year, and doesnt look like its going anywhere for 2012 either

It'll be a couple of months until we get a video I think. It's the 4th single and he still hasn't released a music video for the 2nd single (although I think he might just never release a music video for it now), and he said about a week ago that he wants to take his time with the Take Care video so that it's perfect, and there's a couple of album tracks he wants to make videos for too.

I really, really do hope Love On Top gets made 59p. It's fabulous!

You mean the one for The Motto? Its out. Its tragic. Lil' Wayne is wearing uggs, Drake is in a leopard print puffa jacket

Thriller's worldwide sales are 110 million, whats Adele's now?

I thought that 110m figure was massively inflated and it's really 'only' around 80m or something?

But anyway, '21' has done just under/over 16m worldwide I believe. She won't come close to Thriller but I think she could get fairly high in the worldwide all-time list.

M83 up to #184 with "Midnight City" thanks to the BBC using it for their Olympic Broadcaster trailer. :D

Love it :D Hopefully its this year's Temper Trap

Winehouse was addled with drug and alcohol problems, the cigs won't kill Adele anywhere near as quickly so I'd be shocked if she never finished another album.

:o Bloody hell! :o

Is that the biggest selling album of all time?

The "Thriller" total is disputed, it could be as little as 60 million. "Dark Side of the Moon" could actually be very close to it,

Troublemaker should be Top 10 very soon, and probably peak somewhere in the Top 3. Anyone think it could end up beating Flo Rida to No.1?

Well if she's only at 16 million, with the majority of her sales done, she may not even break 25m I would have thought?

It's amazing feat considering the number of year 2000+ albums selling above 20 million are minuscule.

If Adele makes it she'll be the the 7th, or the 6th studio album. Can anyone name them? I'll be impressed given wasn't that big in the UK.

35. Do It Our Way (Play) - Alesha Dixon  :(

I am worried this won't go top 40 anymore. Hope the advert gets played again tonight on TV.
