 18. Home Again - Michael Kiwanuka

That'll do for a boost  I hope this can go top 40 this week and stick around for a while, I think it could become a bigger hit if commercial radio pick it up.

'I'm Getting Ready' up to #93 as well  I've only heard these 2 songs by Michael but I love both of them.

-x-

Troublemaker is now less than 90% of #1 so it definitely shan't be making it now :D Looking like a battle next week between Flo Rida for a second week and Jessie for a climb there. I'd prefer Flo Rida of the two (both because I prefer the song and so it doesn't carry on another ridiculous run of one-week #1s) but Domino isn't anywhere near as objectionable a #1 as Troublemaker, since I think it'll have a much better chart run.

Swedish House Mafia making #1 the following week would be FANTASTIC, I don't quite see it though. Just hoping for top 5.

Great to see Titanium back in the top 40.

 77. Flashing Lights - Sub Focus, Takura Tendayi & Chase & Status

Definitely could have a good chance at beating its previous peak of #98 :D

Nadia Ali was also the singer in the IIO track ;)

I think we've found another M!key of the week. :D

She should have redone At the End, now there is a song that deserved to be bigger but came out two years after Rapture.

Pixie Lott to get top 40 next week?

17. Micheal Kiwankua - Home Again

22. Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel

60. Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars.

I didn't realise Nadia Ali was the singer on the IIO track :(

The original just sticks out much better.

Video has premiered now.

794. Want U Back - Cher Lloyd

Also; 48. What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) - Kelly Clarkson

NIIIICE. (Although I'd rather they'd rename it to 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' like how it is for the single release/video channels and stuff!)

What on EARTH is the point in doing that?

Sean Kingston in the top 20 again :o I wonder why he's still climbing this week?

It's featured on The Inbetweeners Movie and its now 59p

I doubt it, top 50 is more likely unless she has promo sorted

Probably because the record company thinks us Brits are more likely to refer to Kelly's single as just being called 'Stronger'

(brackets are therefore deemed pointless :P ). What else could possibly explain the title change from 'Many Of Horror' to 'When We Collide' for Matt Cardle's X Factor single? :D

They were vying for Christmas number one with a song called 'Many of Horror'

I remember them doing it a lot in the US, 'Breakeven' by The Script was renamed 'Breakeven (Falling to Pieces)' and it did actually do better once it was renamed  I can see why they do it though, but it's like why don't they just call it that in the first place? :s

Why would that make any difference? :D I'm sure the vast majority of people were well aware of Biffy Clyro's original (it was only released about a year earlier iirc). Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if there were people who had never heard of Biffy Clyro but watched X Factor and thought Matt Cardle had released an original song. -_-

I sort of very vaguely kind of understand that but I see no sense in swapping around the 'parts' of the title - I have no idea why people would be more likely to buy 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' than 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)' I'm keeping the title as the latter in my chart spreadsheet because that's how it appears on the album tracklisting in any case.

Hope Nadia Ali gets top 40 next week, chart needs something dofferent.

To defend Mikey I need to say that the original has much softer production, and Nadia's voice doesn't stand out that much in it.

I'm quite surprised though, that so many of you don't like her voice. :o

60. Kiss The Stars - Pixie Lott +17

794. Want U Back - Cher Lloyd

Top 10 for Both! :cheer: :cheer:

I just listened to Avicii's remix of 'Rapture' out of interest. It's ok but I have to agree that the original released under the name IIO is better. Like Arrs says, it's softer and Nadia's vocals sound better over that backing than the more harder Avicii sound.
