Ha, I hadn't even thought of it like that!

I guess some people just go straight to iTunes if they hear a song they like.

Maybe they downloaded the free mixtape and thought it was go good that they felt like they needed to pay for the songs?

Has iTunes reverted or something? International Love has just fallen from #29 to #35 randomly.

They are good songs, but I doubt that's the reason. I think it simply doesn't occur to people that they can get the songs for free I guess. It seems to happen a lot. Like Chris Brown's next single is one that was from his mixtape too, and I bet people will buy it, even though they don't need to.

Marry The Night has been hanging around in the bottom 20s for what seems like ages now... Needs a 59p discount majorly.

Marry the Night already had a 59p discount. I guess they could discount it for the 2nd time though.

Jessie J up to #3. Perhaps she could beat Flo Rida and Taio Cruz next week?

Skepta up to #21! Impressive that he's still climbing on Thursday evening. I expected him to start dropping after the 48 hours (i.e on Monday).

What is Up doing in the Top 20? I thought it peaked weeks ago, and it's been 59p for a couple of weeks now iirc. :o

I'd laugh if it somehow outpeaked the inferior I Won't Let You Go. (Though both are a little dull if I'm honest...)

"Kiss the Stars" is doing so well without a video!

3. Jessie J - Domino

28. Pitbull - International Love

51. David Guetta - Titanium

54. Skrillex - Breakn' A Sweat

60. Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)

96. Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars

101. Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know

Out of interest, is it possible to cherry-pick Pixie's version of Bright Lights from her album?

Just checked, it's album only.

Having heard the Taio song again I've decided I like the 'o-way-o-way-o-way-o-way-a' part but the rest is just beyond awful (although this alone makes it an improvement over Dynamite which was just beyond awful the whole way through).

I did like 'Little Bad Girl' quite a lot though which is odd given how similar it is - I guess I just prefer David Guetta's production and Ludacris was always my favourite thing about LBG anyway. But I wasn't strongly aversed to Taio's parts.

Clever people at Pixie's management putting 'Kiss The Stars' down to 59p. Hopefully she can get the video out, and get it on the radio more and it might do alright now. Its my favourite song on the album, but to be very honest, that doesn't mean that much, seeing as the album is awful compared to 'Turn It Up' which I loved.

Thanks. I thought that might happen (like with Airplanes and Love the Way You Lie). It would probably have gotten Pixie another top 100 hit otherwize. :(

And I would've liked it to be cherry-pickable, only because where it was in the top 1000 (if at all) would give us some idea of whether Tinchy's version will be big or not.

I wonder why they make them album-only. I can't think of any logical reason.

Hang on, so Taio was on something like 98% yesterday/two days ago and he still hasn't reached #1? Have I blocked out the time when he got to #1 or has he done a "Rude Boy"?

I really hope Jessie gets to #1 tomorrow. 'Domino' may be generic but it is a better kind of generic than 'Troublemaker'. Well, I don't know if that is necessarily true but I prefer Jessie J more as an artist. :P

Ok NOW I will stop with the Taio bashing. Where's the artist bashing thread when you need it? :D

The only reason I think they have made it album only is so the song debuts in the top 10 on first week sales.

They don't want it to lose sales when they release the other version of it?

'Kiss The Stars' is certainly far better than her droning, awful excuse for a song that was 'What Do You Take Me For?' but it's still nothing special. My favourite Pixie single is Cry Me Out which I'd rate about 8/10. The rest of her stuff is either horrendous (Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh), Turn It Up, What Do You Take Me For?) or 'okay but not something I'd listen to' (the entire rest of her discography).

It does indeed seem to have 'done a Rude Boy' :D

It wouldn't be combined anyway so this can't be the reason.

I hadn't realised that 'Up' has climbed all the way up (no pun intended) to #18. I thought its boost was over when it started to fall at the end of last week, so good to see it could actually take off still and all hope is not lost.

I feel a Pixie rate coming on:

Turn It Up>>>>>>>> Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)>>Broken Arrow> Cry Me Out>> Boys & Girls>>> Gravity>>>Kiss The Stars>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>What Do You Take Me For>>>>All About Tonight

I think its obvious which era I prefer. 'Turn It Up' is her best along with 'Here We Go Again', I love both so much

Jester Should be delighted to hear that Adele - Set Fire To The Rain is number two on iTunes and should go to number one on iTunes by defult when Jason Mraz loses the effect of being number one, always happens in America. (USA Itunes of course) It's amazing how well Adele singles do without videos...
