I'm quite surprised Kiss The Stars is even going top 40, especially without a music video. Why the rather steep climb recently? I mean What Do You Take Me For? seemed to be an 'era-killer' along with the floptastic album, but Kiss The Stars seems to be defying that currently. I have no idea why as it is the most faceless, generic thing she's done! I think it will probably go top 20, but I would be shocked to see it in the top 10! :o

Pixie needs the album to re-enter the top 40. 'Kiss The Stars' could go top 20, but unless it either has huge sales or boosts the album back in a stable position in the top 40 it really won't count as a success.

'Fight For You' by Jason Derulo shot up to the top 15 on iTunes then plummeted straight back down and it did nothing for the album, I can see 'Kiss The Stars' having a similair chart run.

EDIT - 'International Love' #22! :o Wow.

EDIT #2 - 'Stronger' #40! :D

I very much doubt it has had NO airplay...

Exactly. I never EVER listen to Capital and I was at a friends house, who put on Capital for 5 minutes and 'Kiss The Stars' came on. I believe its getting strong airplay over on there.

Its already been discussed, its 59p. It would have been outside the top 100 without it being that cheap.

Oh I already knew that! My brain must've switched off for a moment there!

iTunes should lower every song to 59p, it'd guarantee much more sales (as shown with every song at that price suddenly recieving a big boost).

It's all about the revenue. Selling the song for 59p instead of 99p you need to sell the song by almost 68% (0.99/0.59) more than if it sells for 99p to get at least the same revenue. And I believe it's not the case for most 59p sellers. It works when the older songs which aren't bought now are discounted AND advertised, but in other cases it's just the promo.

iTunes knew what they were doing when they raised up the price from 79p to 99p. Yes, the copies were sold in less amounts but the revenue is all that counts for them.

Jessie now on 85% - I think she can do it! :)

Well, 3 pop songs is not the EPITOME of variety. Although Coldplay is leaning more to the alternative side. The other two are standard uplifting Dr. Luke pop songs.

It's not too bad though. I'm just relieved that Taio Cruz doesn't look to be getting another #1. :D

REALLY? "Domino" is as poppy as they come but Flo Rida is basically rapping over a dance track. I know that trend has been immensely popular in the last few years but it doesn't mean it's pure pop by any stretch. "Paradise" is far more of a pop song in terms of structure and feel.

Jessie now up to 87% (rounded up) :D
Paradise, Good Feeling and Domino may all have an element of pop, but the styles are different so that would be a very good start to the year, especially if Swedish House Mafia get number 1 the week after :D

It's already big across the whole Capital Network. Saying it's had no airplay is a poor excuse.
