Yes SHM :cheer: Hopefully their top version can go as high as #2 by tonight, then maybe it could have a small chance of being #1 in the Tuesday update (I know we don't get full mids any more but I think the OCC are still posting the #1s on Tuesday? They did last week anyway) with the EP and other versions combined. It's a big jump to the #1 spot on iTunes but if it keeps increasing quickly I think it could still do it. Definitely looking set to be their first top 3 hit at least though :cheer:

It's sad to think what Pixie Lott has become.

I read the Digital Spy review of 'Kiss the Stars' and they hit the nail on the head. Back in 2009, she was quite an exciting, promising new artist. 'Mama Do', 'Boys and Girls' and 'Cry Me Out' might not have been my cup of tea (although I like the latter) but they were different. But now, Pixie's just horrendous. It's like her career is having a mental breakdown. She's released two demos and an average mid-tempo from 2005.

I went to Pixie's tour and she was fantastic throughout. Also, her BGT performance was pretty amazing, IMO.

I seen her supporting Rihanna in 2010 and she was very good. I don't know whats happened in those two years

I have a strong sense that Pitbull is going to overtake Kelly before she manages to overtake Coldplay and therefore IL will be top 10 instead of WDKY(S). Shame because although I don't really like this new Kelly song, I would like her to get at least two top 10 hits from Stronger.
Nice to see old songs like Ri/Calvin and Maroontina out of the top 20. Ed Sheeran and (hopefully) LMFAO should follow suit.
would like beyonce, kelly and pitbull/chris to all go top 10 by sunday.. beyonce is likely to fall though which is a shame because its a top 5 track in my opinion !

HOW ABOUT we judge people on their music rather than how strong their voice is? Christ almighty. "So many confuse hype with talent". I have never heard such nonsense. It's basically "HOW DARE YOU LIKE SOMEONE WHO ISN'T THE NEXT CHRISTINA AGUILERA!". As unpleasant as Pixie and Lana can be live what difference does it really make when their music is good (to my ears at least)? I'm not going to force myself to listen to Bionic with the reasoning that "well at least she could pull it off live!", nor am I going to force myself to watch Pixie on Dancing On Ice over and over.

Anyway, ITUNES. Lay It On Me is basically flopping isn't it. Such a pity! Perhaps she can turn it around but it seems that sound is getting a bit less chart-friendly. Even RiRi's had trouble selling it.

I suspect this is why her label kept milking her debut era to death, they were afraid she'd suffer the "sophomore slump" and unfortunately for them she's suffered badly.

yay for swedish house mafia & david guetta! the gotye song has also clicked with me now, after initially thinking it was pretty boring. nice to see that climbing as well.

Thats exactly how I feel, she used to be great live, even just watch any of her acoustic covers on YouTube, and now she is awful. I have no clue what on earth has happened to her, she was great when I went to see her and I even went to see just her tour, not her supporting someone and it was great. Now, I wouldn't be doing that again in a hurry, I used to be such a fan before aswell, but I couldn't care less about her anymore to be honest.

I agree with the top paragraph so much. I'm NEVER going to understand how people can only like songs sung by good live singers. And I'm also never going to understand how they can tell if the person is good at singing live, and hence, whether they're allowed to like the song, just from hearing the studio version on the radio or whatever. Some people are similar with artists playing instruments, writing their own lyrics, etc. It's stupid. I personally just listen to a song and I like it if it sounds nice. Cheryl Cole being a bad live singer doesn't change how awesome 3 Words sounds (to me).

About Lay It On Me, I think it's a bit too soon to say it's flopping. It got cherrypicked a lot on release week, so I'm sure it'll go top 20 at least in the end. It's similar to Right There, which was a massive hit last year, so I think songs like that can still be big hits.

Antidote top version up to 45.2%. ~71.3% of #2 (up from ~67.1% at the last Kworb update 2 hours ago).

'Titanium' up to #2 - get in! Hoping it can top the charts this week or next week, such an anthemic song - and to think I doubted whether it'd re-peak. Great to see Swedish House Mafia up to #6 too - it'll no doubt be in the top 5 upon first update - just depends where the multiple versions put Lloyd and Avicii. Hopefully Pixie Lott's run in the top 10 is short lived, I'm not a huge fan of this new song, or the new album.

Interesting to see Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and now Pitbull all outside the top 10 - Maroon 5 and Rihanna still pose competition though - and I wonder where LMFAO and Ed Sheeran chart come Sunday - someone's going to lose out on a top 15 placing.

Swedish House Mafia also have multiple versions (although only one charting significantly) plus EP sales (EP is still in the top 3 at the moment) which keep them ahead of Lloyd and Avicii combined - I'm fairly confident they'll be #2 in tomorrow's update if we get one.

03. Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump 59.8%

04. Flo Rida - Good Feeling 57.7%

05. Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars 53.1%

06. Swedish House Mafia - Antidote 45.1%

It's looking likely that by around 9pm tonight Swedish House Mafia will climb to #5 on iTunes. I just Hope Pixie overtakes Flo Rida in time.

10. Avicii - Levels 34.6%

11. Kelly Clarkson - What Dosen't Kill You 30.5%
