Wow 11 pages of talking about pixie lotts new song

Im loving the look of the top 10, well top 12 including olly and kelly. So amazing how well Kelly is doing, didn't think she would be able to get another big hit off her album over here  Hopefully will be able to go top 10 soon

Oh no Kelly back to #13 I thought she was gaining on #11 :(

She is #12 on the feed, but with Maroon 5's two versions combined, she's #13. Kelly needs 0.0151 to get to #11, and 0.0694 to get top ten (which realistically won't happen for a while, as Beyoncé is still gaining quickly, and Avicii has been at a similar percentage for the past 40 hours on Kworb).

4. David Guetta feat Sia - Titanium

5. Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars

10. Beyonce - Love On Top

12. Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)

18. Pitbull feat Chris Brown - International Love

32. Cher Lloyd - Want U Back

35. Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa feat Bruno Mars - Young, Wild & Free

60. One Direction - One Thing

183. Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline (was used on EastEnders last night during Pat's Funeral)

200. David Guetta feat Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On (hopefully it will become the big hit it deserves to be!)

60. One Direction - One Thing

Good to see this already doing well.

The music video premiered only recently so it should climb a lot soon.

The video is really good and the song isn't bad either. Far better than 'Gotta Be You'. Nowhere near as good as 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

And when combining Rihanna's third version and two other versions of 'Earthquake' all just outside the top 100 she's really #15 combined

I wish there were pop bars for lower than #100.

One of my friends is in the One Dirction video. ^_^

Re :T1000 re-entries - I always find myself curious about these.

At the lower end of the chart, presumably they are pretty random, but when you are talking of top 300, I figure there needs to be a specific reason, given the sales levels needed.

Yeah, I find those weird aswell. If it's a song that I like, I usually bring it up, but usually nobody else seems to care. Usually it's down to being played on Radio 1, the artist doing live shows of some sort, the song being in a movie soundtrack, or a video game soundtrack, or a TV series, or an advert, or a Youtube viral video, or when a song is involved in a plagiarism controversy (for example, Under the Bridge and Express Yourself both went in the top 300 iirc).

Sometimes visiting the song's page on Youtube can help, as people often discuss where they've heard the song from.

I can't believe that awful song by Pixie is #5 on iTunes. The music video actually looks like a parody video, and the song is very empty and robotic sounding. Absolutely shocked at it's success. :o

59p, a conveniently timed video and she was used on Big Brother last night - its just a bit of very good marketing by her label

its going to overtake Titanium soon

Her label weren't the ones who chose for it to be 59p, and they weren't the ones who chose for it to be on Big Brother. So it's more down to luck that this all timed out this nicely/badly.

This topic has genuinely been about Pixie for about.. 4 days now. -_-

It may just be a coincidence but the song is now following me around everywhere! It was on CBB while i was discussing it on here, I heard it twice on the radio earlier, it was on in the shops and was just on Capital when i got in the car...

Being stalked by a song?

I've yet to see the video to 'Kiss The Stars' but having previewed the track on iTunes (just curious as to what it sounded like), it's basically 'All About Tonight Pt II'. That'll probably explain why it's doing well amongst Pixie's fanbase. As someone else posted yesterday, if the song had been 99p all this time I doubt it would be anywhere near this high on iTunes.

Yay for Pixie at #5 :cheer: She's got quite a gap to close on David Guetta and hopefully Swedish House Mafia won't be as big as everyone is predicting it to be
