I thought Madge has always been quite slim tbf. :P She's definitely not as big now as she once was (anything pre-2007) anyway, no matter what period we're talking! Maybe Hard Candy/Celebration was a bit of a blip? We'll see...

That's true :D

BTW guesss who's massive, and what's this on her leg? :o

Fake tan, she was sweating so much due to nerves that her fake tan started to run off

I take it the thing about gym class heroes album being released as a dload this week is wrong?if it was true the new single would be in the chart?!

It could be the way forward for the album chart - early dload releases as physical sales fall!!Skrillex being a good example this year!

Gotye in the top 3, amazing :o Hopefully top 3 officially next week alongside Guetta and will.i.am, that'd be a good top 3.

William?!! He's abysmal! :o

No-one really mentioned it yet but R.I.O. is now #30 :o

Also Turn Me On is already #41, so it might just enter the top 40 officially by Sunday

I dont get this Gotye song, i like one single line in the entire track and ive had a good few listens to it.. not impressed

A Guetta/Gotye top two would be perfection  I'm so glad that both are top three together now, it's been a long time coming.
So Titanium's heading for #1 then? Thank God. And Pixie helping to kill Good Feeling is nice.

Don't get why they've sent the turn me on video to UK music channels. Shouldn't they have waited until Turn me On is getting its UK release. Will still definitely get top 3 when sent to radios though.

Also, am I correct in saying that Next To Me is getting released the same week as Emeli's album? Argh, not Another Teenage Dream and Best Thing I Never Had. Hopefully it will still debut At #1 with a high number! Totally see it nearly crossing 100k first week.

I don't think it really matters, as anyone can watch the video on YouTube.

I can see it entering at #2/#3 to be honest as I think DJ Fresh will get in the way. I'd imagine her album will go to #1 that week though.

Best Thing I Never Had was released the week after the album iirc.

And I didn't mean that 25 years ago/Madonna thing in an offensive way. :( I obvioulsy wasn't alive then, but I always thought Madonna was at her most popular in the mid-80's, so I simply did 2010-1985 in my head. I just meant I can't see it having Born This Way-esque success straight away when it's released like some people are suggesting (although I have half a mind to believe people are just over-hyping Madonna so they get to say "Well, she didn't do as well as we were expecting" this time next week).

Impressive that Pixie Lott is climbing. After What Do You Take Me For? didn't do as well as I hoped, it's impressive that she's managed to have two runs in the top 10 without holding the song back.

And I don't think all the new releases in coming weeks will debut at #1.

Briliant. :D

So happy to see 'Titanium' back at the top overall - hope it can somehow bridge that 6k gap between now and Saturday. It would be an excellent UK #1.

Also delighted to see Gotye feat. Kimbra climbing up to #3. No doubt Alyssa's sales will plummet from next week onwards whilst Gotye is likely to be a more consistant seller. His album is released on 13-02-12 so combined with the album version, this track might just get to no. 1 in two weeks time.

What an excellent couple of UK #1 single we could potentially have here. :D

Then there's 'Wild Ones' which I'm also liking a lot too. Music video hasn't been released yet but if the track remains high up, then it could get enough of a sales boost from the video to compete for the #1 spot in a couple of weeks time.

About to fall out of the top 40! About f*cking time

1. We Found Love

2. Talk That Talk

3. Where Have You Been (I would say second, but for variety TTT before it)

Then nothing else, because nothing else is even remotely good enough.

Totally agree with this post, they really are the only 3 tracks on her album that are good enough to be singles. If she releases anything else then she will tarnish a comparatively impressive run of singles to date.

the entire album is much better than 'talk that talk'! :o particularly 'roc me out' and 'drunk on love' as well as 'where have you been' obviously.

I'd have had the singles go:

1. we found love

2. drunk on love

3. roc me out

4. where have you been

Best Thing I Never Had was released the week after the album iirc.

I don't think the 'single' version was released for quite a few weeks (maybe even months) after the album was released. I seem to remember 'Best Thing I Never Had' was just cherry picked off the album.
