Afroman was really a new low at that time in the chart

True, but George Harrison was a genius!

Fab charts, 1997 and 2002 in particular. I hope the A1 comeback can get of the ground this year, Take That aside they are the best British boyband of all time.

I was about to say "aren't they Norweigan?", so I wiki'd to be sure and they're actually British-Norwegian.

My hopes for today: Lana Del Rey not falling lower than #12 (even though she blatantly has :(), 'Titanium' top 2, Kelly securely top 10 (i.e. #8 or higher).

Well yeah, fair enough, you know what I mean though. They had their comeback in Norway a couple of years ago but were apparently going to come back here this year. I hope they support Steps :kink:

Hello! I've not properly commented in this thread for a long time (and probably won't even today), but I do always like to browse the thread, so thought I'd pop in to note my favourites:

2011

01. (-) Kesha - We R Who We R (90,139) - A pretty forgettable #1 from Ke$ha; it's a shame that 'TiK ToK' didn't become the massive #1 that everybody expected it to be (although it was obviously still huge).

03. (2) Adele - Rolling In The Deep (63,581)

04. (4) Diddy Dirty Money - Coming Home ft Skylar Grey (59,572)

05. (-) Chase & Status - Blind Faith ft Liam Bailey (52,853)

06. (3) Jessie J - Do It Like A Dude (41,300)*

08. (6) Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me (27,934)

09. (7) Rihanna - What's My Name ft Drake (26,623)

2007

01. (1) Mika - Grace Kelly (38,500)

04. (4) Jojo - Too Little Too Late (19,700)*

05. (3) The View - Same Jeans (17,900)*

#07. (14) Klaxons - Golden Skans (13,500)

09. (7) Ordinary Boys - I Luv U (12,600)*

10. (5) Eric Prydz Vs Floyd - Proper Education (11,200)*

Kings Of Pop :o I wonder if they will rush-release Will.I.Am next week? Surprisingly I like his version.

I thought they usually play the actual cover version when one charts?

Anyway, regarding the real song, why would Mick Jagger lower himself to a song like this?!

There isn't a clean edit of the Kings Of Pop track so they can't play it.

JLS back in the top 40 :D

Album Discussion Here

Ah, that would explain it. Does the original will.i.am song have rather explicit lyrics then?

Good to see this JLS song back in, thanks to 59p iTunes. It's the only song they released this era which I liked.

It's not that weird Reggie! Kings of Pop are at 40 but because of the risque lyrics you're playing the original version by Will I Am.

This has had a very strange run, especially given "Eyes Wide Shut" entered straight in at #10.

THIS. Although they could have always bleeped the Kings Of Pop version.
