February 5, 201213 yr This country sent an entry which came second in being "Most underrated", but other than that they weren't nominated for anything. Neither did they have an entry in TBO IV at all, and they almost didn't make it to top 30 for 2011. Still they continue to participate and have been for a very, very long time. Are they THAT underrated? They claim to come back with a bang this year, though.. but this is a gamble. In the BJSC lottery we ALL have some money in the pot. IT'S... Slightly surprised I actually made it in the end ^_^ I wouldn't say I'm particularly underrated, just maybe not as apparent as 2009/2010 when I won twice, and 2010 was a pretty successful year for me. B.a.N.G. are rather underrated, they do occasionally appear with a proper gem. Santogold, Renegade and Siobhan Donaghy are particular standouts. Then of course they have one of the all time greatest BJSC entries in the form of eliZe - Can't You Feel It :wub: :wub: :wub: All of my songs are amazing!!! eliZe completely sticks out like a sore thumb in my past entries. :lol:! I've been toying about whether to send another Siobhan Donaghy song, one of her b-sides.

Sometimes I think people see Isconia and immediately think "indie", no thanks. Probably not the truth but I am irritated at the moment. :angry: I am going to continue in BJSC but if I DNQ 10 times this year I am not going to care.

I'm getting that feeling. I actually find it easier now to list which entries I don't like in the final (because it's a shorter list than my faves list). It's just grouping together those I do like and putting them into an order I feel happy with. I even think whatever gets my 1 point will be worthy of more points. :(

I was the only Semi 2 voter to have 4 of my picks DNQ! I suppose the songs that got through in their place were the few hanging around under my one-pointer, so I can't be too miffed. And delighted Lievant got through after some edgy predictions for it!
February 5, 201213 yr Pretty disappointed in Buzzjack to be completely honest. -_- It's a beautiful song, far above most of the rubbish in semi one. Usually I'm fine with what I get, but I really feel New Look - The Ballad deserved better. Thanks Isconia for the 12 and Aquafina for the 10.
