This month they most certainly have made an impact. SIX new countries qualified for XLIV and ONE comeback makes an appearance. So the contest overall is definitely getting tougher from here on out. Which is a bit scary! Significant changes to the scoreboard worth a comment: Happenings in the TOP FIVE: Numayania has taken a bite out of the apple tree of success and has secured a spot in FIRST PLACE right at this moment! And we all know how Ashton will react to this, but don’t worry you, because you will not die from a second place. That is still an achievement! Fljótavík and Syndare are the ONLY countries to DNQ out of everyone in the entire top ten! And these wrong sized crystal DNQ’s that they both hold in their hands have made them unable to go to the ball… err.. I mean to the final, thus unenabling them to be in the top five. They’re now 6th and 7th respectively. In their stead, we see Elëdan and Top five-debutant Ramrynia! I’m sure they’re both hyperventilating by this fact (mostly Ramrynia, I think, for getting off the number 6!), but that doesn’t mean they’ll stay in this moment forever. So.. treasure it! Oh and FSR Rontvia is third now. But we all know they will run away with it at the end of the year anyway! :D :kink: Countries with a big improvement since the last contest: - Kopečka finally has a BIG hit for the first time this year, and after being in the dark for a while, they turn on the lights again and come SECOND! This makes them climb 9 places up the scoreboard! - Two countries – Utopia and Ingermanlandia - unexpectedly and discretely (sort of like city lights and basslines?) bumps and flashes up a whole of 10 places! - Persephonia has done badly for a very, very long time in this competition, and is beginning to get all restless on us, so they’ve decided to climb 12 places this time! Wow! - I have no idea what obedear means and I can’t seem to be able to find an answer to that.. *sigh*.. but that doesn’t matter to Mdiče because all they care about is that they’ve qualified for the second time this year, and on this second time they manages to climb 16 places up the scoreboard! And with this, they’re now 16th on the list as well! - But no one can beat Daehun this time around. They really GOT that O and climbs the MOST out of everybody – with 20 places closer to first place! They were second to LAST, but now they're in TOP 30! That’s quite wonderful! Countries with a big regression since the last contest: - Three countries – with two of them failing to qualify and one of them (ChrIseland) taking a break from the contest – all falls 6 places down the scoreboard. Unovia were probably overconfident when they talked too hotly about their entry’s chances (tongue of fire!), and Allecian a similar same reason; claiming that no one could ever take away their chances of qualifying. Their DNQ was our reaction to that… - Despite having enough experience in this contest to be considered a BJSC dinosaur - Kylienips slips 7 places.. - Oh and both Scherzland and Yuxhaaq are the two countries who found a way to get the biggest regression this month – they both fall 8 places downwards! - (NEW) to the top 30 scoreboard is Lake Thermwoods! :cheer: Congrats! June 4, 201213 yr I've only qualified half of the time and finished 17th and 22nd, yet I'm somehow 26th overall? :lol:
