Doesn't seem that strong for a lead single but guess it has grown on me from when first heard it

INCREDIBLE set of songs here.

I wonder where Starships peaks. I hope it doesn't do too well tbh, since it's not a "Nicki" song imo. It's a 2010 pop song. Another song I realized it sounds like is Good Feeling.

Okay, so they've just ruined my favourite song in the chart - positively fuming.

And, yay - way to follow up my fave song of 2012 with my worst! :(

Discussion Thread Here

2 of my faves in a row! Nicki and Lana Del Rey
I don't understand why on earth they would cut the breakdowns? They are my least favourite part of the song to be fair, but I have grown to enjoy them now and it just seems really strange and pointless. Makes the song feel like it isn't going anywhere

They're my favourite part of the song as well (as Rob, not you :P), really annoyed at that

Whitney Houston RIP

Euuugh they ruined Nicki's song, WTF. It's like what they did with Britney's 'If U Seek Amy', but at least they had a reason for that. Stupid Radio 1 :(
It actually depresses me that this awful cover is the thing Whitney will always be remembered for :(
Thank God this didn't re-enter the top 10. Up there with my least favourite recordings of all time. (The original version is decent enough but Whitney's is just awful).

Born To Die, followed by Whitney. Unfortunate.

 well spotted.

I don't find it awful, but I love Whitney and it's not one of her best (though it is one of Dolly Parton's best).

And Ayo Technology. Whenever I heard it on Radio 1, half of it was just the instrumental. :drama:

Over sentimental tripe. Her uptempo ballads and dancey tracks are loads better.
I thought it was cheesy and still think that way.
