Sing-a-long.
February 23, 201213 yr This whole album is brilliant! Admittedly I wouldn't have checked this out, if it weren't for Glee. But 'We Are Young' is rather excellent! I don't know about anyone else, but I can certainly hear some Queen influences in some of the songs. Good stuff.
February 23, 201213 yr We Are Young is terrible. I do not see the appeal. )~: Amen. Dreadful stuff! Janelle can do much better.
February 24, 201213 yr Does anybody else hear the similarities to Tracy Chapman in the (male!) lead singer's voice? I'm giving this album a listen now and I feel like I'm listening to Tracy fronting a new studio album by the remaining members of Queen.
February 24, 201213 yr Does anybody else hear the similarities to Tracy Chapman in the (male!) lead singer's voice? That's actually exactly what I was thinking the first time I heard (a bit of) 'We Are Young'
March 11, 201213 yr I only bothered to check out 'We Are Young' because it's got Janelle on it. I have two thoughts really. 1) I really, really like this, so much that I've bought it, but I'm pretty sure that in 2 months or so it'll annoy the fuck out of me. 2) Janelle's feature is one of the most pointless guest appearances in the history of music. I had to listen a second time with the video to work out where she came in!!
March 11, 201213 yr This still hasn't grown on me. I agree too that Janelle's feature is one of the most pointless things ever. Love that cover art though.

Omg. That's EXACTLY what it sounds like, I thought I'd heard that voice before. They should rename themselves Queen Chapman. :D
March 11, 201213 yr I feel like this could be great, but it's just incredibly dull as it is. So much production potential.
June 7, 201213 yr The title track appears to be the follow-up and here's the video; qQkBeOisNM0 Another very decent song but I'm not convinced it can stop them being one-hit wonders.
June 7, 201213 yr It's doing OK in the US so far, but I don't think it will go much higher than say top 40. And in the UK I don't expect it to even go that far, I'd like to be proven wrong though - although the song isn't as good as WAY it's another great track and they don't deserve to be one hit wonders!
June 7, 201213 yr Liking the second single. Is the album actually good? I like the 99 Red Balloons reference particularly.
June 7, 201213 yr 1) I really, really like this, so much that I've bought it, but I'm pretty sure that in 2 months or so it'll annoy the fuck out of me. I'm very shocked that I still adore 'We Are Young'.
July 21, 201212 yr Just heard Some Nights (the song) and I love it! More instant than 'We Are Young' was for me which took a few listens. This seems to be doing really well worldwide too, so hopefully another top 10 in the UK too!
November 4, 201212 yr So just discovered fun. have a forum. Generic post expressing my love for the band. My favourite of the year (following on from Foster the People last year)
