Just listening to the LZ7 song now, it's really catchy and instant actually with decent production, I'd have no objections to it being in the top ten.

I've just Youtubed it up.

I always feel very mean-spirited if I hope that charity tracks do badly because they aren't selling 'on-merit' but this is a pretty decent song, so yeah, I can't complain at that. At least they have made an effort, unlike many charity tracks whose producers seem to think that just because it's for a good cause they can get away with any old rubbish.

It's not a really dreary ballad is it?

(Poor Matt Redman getting snubbed on his own song, eveyone keeps referring to it as an LZ7 song :kink:)

01. Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know 100%

02. Dappy & Brian May - Rockstar 91.5%

C'mon Gotye, lets hope Dappy stops increasing! :(

Really surprised at how well R U Mine is doing, it could get higher on iTunes than 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair' and without any kind of hyped premiere at all, just suddenly surfacing without warning and being released :o Bloody hell. (Anyone remember how high DSDCIMYC got? I know it didn't manage top 10).

I might be wrong, but didn't it get to #11 on iTunes (with a mid-week release)?

And I think everybody refers to it as an LZ7 song, because we actually vaguely know who LZ7 are.

02. Dappy & Brian May - Rockstar 91.5%

C'mon Gotye, lets hope Dappy stops increasing! :(

Eek, let's hope so indeed :( Although if Dappy does get there, he will likely be frontloaded so we'll have nothing to worry about in the official charts.

In better news Gotye's second version is #42 and has 9% :cheer:

96. Led Astray (Radio Edit) - Friction

Was this only released today? I thought it was just bombing really hard. Hope it can go at least top 100 officially.

Wow. That's a weird cover. Half of it sounds like it's in a different language.

I'm really surprised that Dappy is still increasing to be honest. He's sure to start decreasing tommorrow though, so I doubt he'll get #1 on iTunes.

That's good, he will hold on anyway thankfully.

Wow. That's a weird cover. Half of it sounds like it's in a different language.

It is, RIcky Martin plays the new Spanish teacher and it casually comes up that he's a singer so he performs it half in Spanish. I like it more than the original tbh, maybe the fact he actually IS sexy helps :P And he just is more appealing vocally.

I know that LZ7 song is a charity track, but why has it suddenly shot up, and not followed the normally new release curve?
That LZ7/Matt Redman track is one of the worst things I have heard for years. Shocking. Those lyrics http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/zombie.gif

What exactly has led to 'Twenty Seven Million' rocketing up iTunes? It's also apparently #1 on Amazon at the moment.

Looks like it'll be an interesting week for new releases with Arctic Monkeys also top 20 at the moment. Will check out these two tracks shortly.

Wow. That's a weird cover. Half of it sounds like it's in a different language.

Surely would be the EricBlob of the week if ever anyone cared enough... :manson:

Charlie Brown's going the wrong way :( but on the other hand it's great to see the Arctic Monkeys in the Top 20 :D

Madonna - Gimme All Your Lovin' at #117, just heard her next single 'Girls Gone Wild' It's a bit simular to 'Get Together', which is very club sounding so with that in mind it should do better than GAYL. :D

Twenty Seven Million is a Facebook campaign which took Delirious? to chart inside the top 5, only a week later it fell like a lead balloon.

 5. Twenty Seven Million - Matt Redman & LZ7

iTunes appears to have decided that the higher version of 'Icarus' isn't a radio edit any more.
