Great to have this back again :D Can't remember if this was reduced to 59p earlier in the year as well? I know Fly was but I think this was as well. The EP pre-order is #55 on the albums chart (up from #71 earlier) :D Really hope it can be a hit, it's already shaping up to be my favourite single of his and I love all the singles from TDOSB and the ones I've heard from his debut :wub:

I'm fully expecting StooShe to be the highest new entry, at 2 or 3. Might possibly even challenge for #1. I could see it actually being quite a big hit. Marcus could go top 5 as well, Tinchy would do very well to break the top 10 after how badly 'Off The Record' bombed - but Pixie clearly does still have some appeal as proven by 'Kiss The Stars' being a decent sized hit against all expectations so 'Bright Lights' could go top 10 as well I guess.

 

Dot Rotten's 'Are You Not Entertained?' is also out - a hard one to predict but surely at least top 40? Then there's one other somewhat significant release, Jakwob's 'Electrify'. Won't do much but I could see it having at least the success of 'Led Astray' (which is now to #62 by the way).

I'm kind of expecting StooShe to do a Daisy Dares You to be honest. I know they're making progress with the EP on pre-orders but I don't know, I've not seen any buzz for Love Me at all.

Predicting where 'Bright Lights' will debut is a really difficult one - I thought 'Off the Record' was a sure-fire top 10 hit, considering 'Spaceship' debuted at #5 and Calvin Harris was a good choice of collaboration considering how huge 'We Found Love' was in October/November. A real shame it 'flopped' actually, one of his strongest singles for me. R1 supporting 'Bright Lights' though (i.e. Chris Moyles has played it a few times on his morning show) should ensure it's a T15 hit at least.

 

Hope to see StooShe in the T10 though - would be the first Sound of 2012 nominee to have a huge hit - Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, Azealia Banks and Michael Kiwanuka haven't made THAT much an impact on the charts yet.

I reckon StooShe'll be the highest new entry too. And deservedly so, it's a brilliant - different - track and has support from Capital and is A-List on Radio 1. I don't think it'll plummet either as I'm sure them doing well will help their buzz!

This is amazing considering it was released like last year, Tyga isn't that big a name here, and the song still hasn't appeared in the airplay chart for either radio or video. Would probably be #1 if it was getting the radio airplay that Domino or Somebody That I Used to Know are getting. I hope it gets more promotion from somewhere so it can keep on climbing. :)
