Brilliant to see Charlie Brown back in the top 40, hopefully this can establish it in the top 40 with the added airplay this time and it wont just fall next week.

Why on earth is No Light not in the top 40 - thought it would peak there at last with that wonderful performance - it deserves to have a history noted in the top 40!!

Because it had to climb from nowhere to get where it is now.

Hope it moves up further then!

What was No More Idols up for last night?

Edited by steve201

Chase & Status were up for Best Group last night. :)

Charlie Brown  #29 New peak :D Climb Climb! AND live version #57  I think this has had the biggest boost, along with Lego House ofcourse.

Edited by Karma

Yes 29&52 - that will be a top 25 peak now and it will stick around for the next few weeks!

Pity about Chase N Status - i would have given them best group!

Edited by steve201

Yeah Chase & Status had a great year last year, and were the only group who hadnt won the award before, but it was always very unlikely they were going to win, i'm sure they didnt even turn up.

Coldplay were very well deserved winners though, massive fan of Coldplay!

Charlie Brown  #29 New peak :D Climb Climb! AND live version #57

#28 and #56 now.

Mr Derulo down to #29

I'd love to know who is still buying Adele. Surely everyone watching The Brits would most probably have heard the song already a million times before.

On the other hand I'm pleased for Coldplay. Two songs in the Top 40 this week :D

Yeah I always think that, not just with Adele but why are people so late, like why buy Someone Like You now and not when it was released first or at least a few months back, same with loads of songs, I guess there are different reasons for each individual buying it, may have money now and not before, may have just clicked with the song, change of opinion on a song, I dont know. Also so many people have bought 21 like the people buying RITD, SFTTR, SLY etc individually, do they not own the album? Have they just bought the single and maybe cherry picked a few off 21? :heehee: Ofcourse its not just with Adele, same with loads of old songs.

The longevity of Adele's 21 and all her singles in particular really is incredible!

Brits impact already on official chart update:

'The A Team' RE at #36. (#37 & #41 on iTunes)

'Rolling in the Deep' 4 to #35 (in for a massive climb as now #18 on iTunes :o)

'Someone Like You' RE at #33. (#21 on iTunes)

'We Found Love' 7 to #27 (#22 on iTunes)

'Lego House' 15 to #22 (#12 on iTunes - In for a massive climb as well this week)

'Drunk' 5 to #12 (#13 on iTunes)

BRITs effect starting to look a bit more like I'd hoped :D

Lego House at 12 & 70, should be top 15 again and maybe top 10 then. The A Team up to 36 & 41 even though he didn't perform it :D

Coldplay at 28 & 55 - should definitely be top 40 this week :cheer: I'll be happy with that even if it's only for a week, Princess Of China will do better if they bother to release it.

Rolling In The Deep up to #18 (looks like we're not getting a live version annoyingly :(), Someone Like You #21 and Set Fire To The Rain #29 (both should easily be back in the top 40 this week :D) Oh and '21' is back at #1 on iTunes albums, really hope it's back there officially this week.

AKA... What A Life! up to #31, hopefully back in the top 40 this week but it'll have to hold up quite well considering it was selling close to bugger all before last night.

No Light, No Light at 68 and 77, I just really hope it can go top 60 at least. Their next single is apparently being used as the main theme to Titanic so will easily be another top 60 hit at least surely, so if NL,NL can keep that streak intact it'd look better :P

Not BRITs-related (well, they were nominated for best group I guess), but:

34. Ni**as in Paris - JAY Z & Kanye West

:w00t: GET THAT TOP 40 SMASH! (Second version has taken a bit of a tumble from the BRITs effect to #239).

They'd better release the rest of the BRITs performances soon, only having the first 3 and the three Blur performances is pathetic. They haven't even released Rolling In The Deep's live version after how well SLY did last year  (Back up to #260).

Charlie Brown new peak #27 :w00t:

Where is Heart Skips A Beat? :o So surprised it hasnt even entered top 100 :o Even Just The Way You Are has.. (#73)
