so Elephant probably won't be heading to number 1 then (unless Itunes is mucking up and its climbing very fast), I would normally like a new number 1 after a long stayer, but this would be a terrible number 1 and probably front loaded, so Gotye for a 5th week please :P

Alex number 8 now woooo! Same happened with 'Start Without You' with the radio AirPlay and she managed to get to number 1. Shows how popular she is really if she can come back after a long break and still perform really well in the charts!

She's climbing at a slightly slower rate than Dappy did a fortnight ago, I could see something similar for Alex. Top 3 this week, bottom of the top 10 at best next.

'Rockstar' has vanished from my feed as well. Odd. It'll probably shoot back up to the top 20 when it's re-added though.

This is probably my favourite single of theirs. It's very soothing and relaxing. Much easier to listen to than 'Mama Do The Hump'.

Is "Shoot A Hole Into The Sun" on the "Dream On" EP? Could outperform its A-Side on iTunes at least.

 

If Paul Weller is almost top 100 on iTunes he'll easily be top 40 with physicals factored in.

It is, and I suspect it might go Top 100 on iTunes (similar to 'Evil Twin' & Richard Hawley's 'You And I' from the last two Arctic Monkeys singles)

Great to see this climbing, absolutely love it.

I reckon it will manage Top 5 this week with it picking airplay through the week, and hopefully rise further next week. I am really happy for her, I was worried that it was going to be one big massive flop.

The Big Top 40 Show isn't Capital. It just gets broadcast on Capital, and it also gets broadcast on over 100 other radio stations, including notably Heart FM aswell. It's a great piece of promotion for her though, the Big Top 40 Show must reach a massive audience.
