Sorry For Party Rocking :up: #46

 

Now THIS is downright awful. :o I could understand the appeal with 'Party Rock Anthem' (it sounds AMAZING in a club) and 'Sexy And I Know It' (the lyrics, video and wiggle part) but this is seriously dreadful. The chorus sounds like a bunch of drunk guys slurring "sorry for party rockinggggggggggg". I hate it. :(

I'm glad to see Rihanna's new single that high, if it can beat its existing #25 peak I'll be satisfied enough. Hopefully it can go on to outperform that last single either way.
Sorry For Party Rocking is probably even worse than Sexy & I Know It, and I really didn't think that could even be possible :/ I agree PRA had some appeal even if I wasn't too fond myself, and I actually really really liked Champagne Showers (I know, I'm alone) for my shame, but Sexy And I Know It and especially SFPR have literally no redeeming features at all, total and utter shit (imo of course for the loons who may attack me).

I think after hearing the first line of the song, "Yo, I be up in party looking for a hottie to bone", I gathered what the tone of the rest of the song would be. :lol:

 

I don't think the song is very good overall. The only bit I like is that dubstep-lite bit at the end.

He's 36 apparently. What do you mean by "repressed upbringing"? I doubt he was poor, if that's what you mean, since he's related to celebrities.

I haven't heard 'Sorry For Party Rocking' yet, but my LMFAO opinions seem to be the exact inverse of Liam's so I'll probably love it :kink:

It's the music video of party rock anthem that made the song so popular, all the breakdancing and shuffling they do in that video especially the robot guy he was the star of that video.

I think it's an amazing video. I don't know why really. It's probably the only music video in the past few years (along with Sexy and I Know It tbh) that has a dance routine that has become iconic. I just think the whole video is really cute. All the funny costumes, and a bunch of normal people dancing together. In other music videos they're often dressed in weird outfits that just look stupid, or they're all models and half-naked. Also, Lauren Bennett is hot.

 

The song itself isn't that good though. I preferred Call On Me.

Oh lol. I dunno. Possibly. :lol: Although I heard some of his old songs, and he didn't used to be quite like this. Perhaps he's just trying to fit into the mainstream music culture atm.
