Hopefully soon. It's not even that good an album. The singles are all great and 'Turning Tables' but the album tracks are a bit dull. I think it's just selling on hype now.

This.

I do really like the album, and there are 3/4 big highlights singles aside but it's hardly worthy of all this....

I think it could dip out in April/May tbh - it really is running out of steam and there is nothing to give it a boost on the immediate horizon.

I clicked April but could be any month between April and July. Then the Olympics and the inevitable performance at ceremonies will return it into top five.

All people saying Q4 keep in mind that there's still 13 weeks to go until June arrives for example. No one can predict that far.

Yeah I opted for May, as stated above, I cant foresee anything keeping it afloat now apart from radio play of the singles and word of mouth. If she had sung Rumour has it at the Brits thern I really think that would have taken off for a bit and given 21 a bit new lease of life for a while but she didn't so Ill stick with May...
What's the overall record for most weeks in the top 10?
276 weeks! "South Pacific", the Original Soundtrack album from the film of the same name spent its first 180 weeks inside the top 10 (and took 26 weeks to reach number 1!) and its first 233 weeks out of 234 weeks inside the top 10. In total it spent 276 weeks in the top 10 between 1958 and 1964.

Needless to say, sales were a lot lower and turnover in the chart a lot slower back then!

Its chart run is at http://www.chartwatch.co.uk/TopTen/acts/ACT02585.htm and is near the top of that page.

Ah, but how many other 'over-hyped' abums have sold over 4 million...?

IMO, the sales pattern for albums is usually :

Core fanbase, then singles promo, closely followed by Word of mouth, then finally promo from TV usage.

Most albums only benefit from the first 2 stages - and some only from the first...

The 21st century record for weeks in the top 10 is 72 weeks, held by both 'The Fame' and 'Back To Black' (the latter including weeks in the top 10 by both versions, so there's one 'duplicate' week where both were top 10 at the same time). Adele could well beat that before dropping out for the first time. It would achieve that on the 17th of June (15 weeks from yesterday).

'Back To Black' should really have 73 Top 10 Weeks:,

1) 60 Weeks from the 'Original' version.

2) 12 Weeks from the 'Deluxe' version

3) 1 Week when it was credited on the Double CD - 'Frank/Back To Black',

which was a No.10 Hit in the W/E 6th August 2011 Chart.

Which makes it the Album with the most Top 10 Weeks by a Female. (Excluding Film Soundtracks, & Stage Cast Albums)

The Album with the most Top 10 Weeks, by a Male Solo Artist, are the 74 Weeks of Mike Oldfield's 'Tubular Bells'. (1973). The most by a 'Group' Album,

(& by any Artist Album), are the 135 Weeks, of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', the 1970 Simon & Garfunkel release. If you count them as a Duo, & not a Group,

then the most by a Group, are the 65 Top 10 Weeks of 'Brothers In Arms' - Dire Straits. (1985).

Ah, I forgot about the 'Frank & Back To Black' double album going top 10 - you're right, BTB is on 73 then. Weird that the 3 longest top 10 runs by solo artists are so close together.

It always does well on Friday and Saturdays though - so now matter how many new entries there may be, Adele is the primary non-frontloaded artist selling albums, so even if '21' were to appear to drop out of the top 10 on a Wednesday, it'll no doubt just return by Sunday.

What's even more incredible is that '21' hasn't received any significant reductions as of yet (£7.99 on iTunes still) - so you can only imagine how many extra it'll sell when they knock a pound or two off it's RRP.

There's people who STILL didn't buy '21' in the UK?! Like seriously. 40k people this week. WERE THEY LIVING UNDER A ROCK LAST YEAR?!

Is there anyone left out there to buy it?

Oh, me.

And it'll stay that way.

Never? Really do not have a clue, chart run is unreal! Will it ever leave the top 40? Lol Maybe in a few years?

Given the fact that even The Fame (iconic album for sure) has 164 weeks in top 75 I'd say 21 will be there in 2015.

July, the low sales period from after Mothers Day until then I believe will keep her in there, and maybe for longer too.
After Mothers Day wears off it will drop - its sales before Valentines Day wer 19k so by Easter it will drop to that again!
So 3 people have predicted it will drop out of the top 10 within the next 3 weeks. Really?!!
