I remember always seeing the jamster crazy frog and sweety the bird adverts all the time on tv

That's almost a bit of an understatement. I genuinely sometimes saw a Crazy Frog advert on TV 4 or 5 times in one advert break sometimes.

The frequency, and resulting over-exposure really drove people nuts I think. Not to mention the adverts themselves would be really annoying.

The campaign worked though. At school most people had it as their ring tone for a while. I didn't even have a mobile phone back then. :drama:

I think Turn Me On will have a similar run to Who's That Chick - as in not peaking very high but having a huge chart run. Quite odd that this is sort of the other way round; WTC peaked before the video release, whereas TMO peaked after.
I really do hope it's I Can Only Imagine, because Crank It Up would be David's worst single ever (and probably Akon's) - and that is saying A LOT because he's released some utter shite in his time....

On Twitter it seems most people want him to release I Can Only Imagine (basically Chris and Lil Wayne have bigger fanbases than Akon :drama:), so if he's genuinely going to go with what his followers choose you should be fine.

So many times I've seen artists ask on Twitter for their fans to choose their singles, and then they choose something completely different though.

No mention of Belle Amie yet? :P Their [bloody amazing] debut single became a 200+ smash. :kink:

Didn't they split up though?

Odd that the new Taylor song is doing well when 'Safe & Sound' never went near the top 100 and still isn't now even with Radio 1 support and a featured artist (albeit a little-known one)... and S&S is from The Hunger Games soundtrack as well so that's not the reason either.

Remember you can't open the new thread until the 1000th post!

Guetta better release Turn Me On as an official single here first! I have yet to hear on radio outside of the chart.

Jason Mraz is back  #12 recovering from the weekend effect.

You Me At Six  #20

Mirror  #22 CLIMB DAMN IT!!

Angel  #34

Why do the post #'s increase in multiples of 2 each time??

I've always wondered that.

If you reply to this, then somebody can start the new thread!

It seems to mean so much to certain people.

There's still like 11?

Also completely random but what's the most threads/longest in a month? The longest I remember has been on part 3.

Didn't they split up though?

No, they didn't. :P It's been ages since Girls Up though, surely single #2 should be soon...

I thought they did. A rapper I like did a song with one of them, who I think had left the group to do a solo career.

I don't understand how if the posts increase by two every post, how this is only #1006 when we're on page 50. Surely it should be a bit less than double that? I'm so confused. :(

It's easier just to think the thread ends at page 51.

She left the group before the made 'Girls Up' and actually released some music.

I looked her up (that sounds wrong ), and it's Geneva the one he collabed with, if that means anyting to you Belle Amie fans.

It's a very good song though. Very Christina Aguilera.

She left not long after The X Factor. You've just reminded me about that song she did though, I'm gonna go buy it. :P

If a new thread can be made after 1000 posts, why do we have to wait untul page 51, as we're on #1010 now

But it's not really #1010 though, because the posts skip odd numbers for some reason.

This is actually the 998th post I think.

So we have to wait until post #2000? I'm not making the new thread, so i give up trying to figure it out
