Is anyone else not TOTALLY shocked that they are #12 on the albums chart!?! I'm a complete loon and I ahve never seen a pre-order for them break the top 75 on the first day of Pre-Order's so to reach this high is quite an acheivement!

They have been so clever this time around releasing the E.P with literally the MOST WANTED studio version of a song ('Turn myself in') I reckon we'll see Turn Myself In go top 40 when this is released too..

I find it amusing to be honest. They've made some REALLY good songs and of their singles I'd say at least 3 deserved the top spot but it's a bit of a running joke at this stage so I don't mind it continuing

On the Haven iTunes thread, it's claimed that 'Call Me Maybe' will be released this Sunday (per CRJ's Twitter account).

If true, it will certainly be #1 next week.

Yep, I follow her and she has just tweeted:

Just found out amazing news..Call Me Maybe is hitting UK iTunes this Sunday! Xo

Easy number 1 surely?

Carly vs. Sean Paul plz!
I don't get the success for 'Call Me Maybe' at all. It's pretty catchy and fun, but it's so basic and it sounds very Disney and childish.
Ugh. I was for once hoping they WOULDN'T do that. There goes Sean Paul's chance of #1, most likely a third week at #2 behind a third different #1 then...

Most wanted by who exactly? I've never heard of that song.

The fans :P Which obviously is not you I know. They sang it live ages ago (before we even knew anything about On Your Radar) and everyone was gutted it didn't make it on. So it's just a fan favourite really, despite it only ever being performed live because it somehow missed OYR.

Great to see 'Call Me Maybe' getting an early release - April 25th would've been far too long, and the fakes definitely would've cracked the top 20 on iTunes by then. Wonder if they'll do the same for Justin Bieber, fun. and Conor Maynard, in all honesty they should at least look into it - will.i.am and Taio Cruz are recent examples of where held back tracks have lost sales .

Do The Saturdays have 8-9k fans that care enough to buy the song separately instead of just buying the EP though?

(By the way I heard '30 Days' this morning and I really like it, easily already my second favourite of theirs (after 'Up' which will ofc never be beaten) :o)

-x-

I don't mind 'Call Me Maybe' but if Sean Paul ends up at #2 behind Carly next week I will STAB HER. Please let fun. release on Sunday as well, I wouldn't mind them beating Sean (no pun intended).

I'll be buying 'Turn Myself In' seperately. I have absolutely no interest in buying remixes or karaoke versions of songs. :P

Fair point I suppose - but if you pre-order it now then you'll get the karaoke version, the remix and a The Saturdays only version of 'The Way You Watch Me' for just a single penny extra than buying '30 Days' and 'Turn Myself In' separately :o (Assuming they'll be 99p on release of course).

The latter track is pre-order only which would probably explain why it's doing so well. More incentive for the core fanbase to pre-order rather than just wait for the release. See also how the MDNA pre-order went straight to #1 when it had a pre-order only track, but when the other version of the pre-order without the exclusive track was added, it didn't even re-enter the top 40 IIRC.

Probably not  It's a good move to draw a few extra fans but nothing more tbh.

Up  My 2nd fave of theirs behind Higher, both easily in my top 20 ever though. Dunno where I'd slot in 30 Days, as they are in my top 5 acts ever it takes a lot to break my Sats top 5, and I can't tell after less than a day :P

I love 30 Days, I think it'd be in my Sats Top 10/15. It's gonna take a lot to beat Last Call though. :P
