Just listened to the new Plan B song for the first time and it obviously samples "Alles neu". A song by German artist Peter Fox released in 2008. :o

I find that rather strange

Why is that strange?

88. Bring Me to Life - Evanescence

God dammit, can this please stop being used on talent shows <_<

Yes along with "Chasing Cars" and everything by Adele.

Adele can live.

CC hasn't been used on any talent shows recently but of course is in the chart again anyway (#54 at the moment) due to being performed on Sport Relief <_< I'm sure it'll get at least one usage on both The Voice and Britain's Got Talent as well.

Just downloaded the ill Manors EP :D £1.99 for 5 tracks, what great value, you should all go buy it as well :kink:

27. Turn Up The Music - Chris Brown

i've got the psy-kicks this week

Chris Brown - Turn Up The Music - 1

Plan B - ill Manors - 4

B.Traits (ft. Elizabeth Troy) - Fever - 14

I wish Jamie N Commons' new song had even a slight chance of charting. Devil In Me could actually be a hit if it was given proper airplay

I may live to regret this but I bought the Cahill remix of "Want U Back" proving that he is remix genius at present!

OMG I'm one of those people glogging up the charts with month old hits! :D

Chris Brown should be heading for his first #1 then if he's entered at #27 on pre-orders. Praying for Plan B (who has the obvious handicap of being an EP pre-order) to overtake later but I don't see it happening, I'd like to think it could at least go top 3 fairly easily though. Hope B.Traits does well too.

Plan B should be OK for Top 10 (maybe top 5 at a push) but beyond that I don't hold out much hope I'm afraid.

Wow that is such great value! I think I will buy it again!

'ill Manors' EP straight in at #2 on the albums feed. David Guetta must be selling quite a lot at #1 to hold off a song that's been top 100 or just outside on pre-orders for at least a month (I think?) and top 40 for about a week of that.

B.Traits' EP is in at #21 and Clement Marfo & The Frontline's at #58. Didn't know 'Mayhem' was out this week, I hope it can at least go top 100.

I was listening to the Cahill remix (and the 50 Cent remix) of Like a G6 today. INCREDIBLE.

RedOne also did a remix of Like a G6. It's awful in comparison to all the other versions of the song basically.

25. Turn Up the Music - Chris Brown

950. ill Manors - Plan B

Chris Brown's song is actually HORRIFIC.

Good to see Plan B in the top 1000. I hope it can get higher. :)

Are Katy Perry's new songs being released this week aswell? Maybe one of them will get top 40.

Incredible to think 'Turn Up the Music' is already the 25th frequently downloaded song on iTunes at the moment - and it's only been available for 34 minutes!

Just purchased the new Plan B track, it's really grown on me over the past couple of days.

12. Jessie J 'Domino'

32. will.i.am 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)'

I imagine we'll see Jessie J climb next week then, with a chart run of 11-11-14-12 (it'll be at #13 or #14 today). With The Voice on every week, airplay for that track isn't going to slow down and she's in the media attention - looks like 'Domino' will be another long-running top 20 single, haha.

will.i.am should hopefully be a re-entry next week too, it's likely fallen out this week (to #41-45), but The Voice should hopefully help stabilise it's position in the #25-40 region. Still no sign of the album, #willpower though, nor of a second single.

I like 'Turn Up The Music' and i'm a big Chris Brown fan, but it doesn't deserve #1 over Plan B.

Another generic dance song with dire lyrics ('if you're sexy and you know it put your hands up in the air', 'turn up the music just turn it up loud') complete with yet another Michael Jackson wannabee video over a proper British anthem by a British artist with actual depth to the lyrics that address the London riots and UK government? No way. Plan B has clearly put alot of effort into this campaign (check out the 30 minute speech he did supporting young people on YouTube plus the fact he writes and produces his own material and has a film coming out to support this) and it'd be a shame for him to be beaten by Chris Brown who no doubt recorded the song in one day and took about 10 minutes coming up with the lyrics.

I find it weird with Chris, how he put so much effort into a guest verse on Champion, which I think was quite personal, then all his other big singles that year were just him repeating "Beautiful people woooooooooooaaaaaaah", or rapping out his dick.

Don't know why. I just found that weird at the time.

I'm excited for his album though. I complain about Yeah 3x a lot, but most of his previous album was really good.
