Read my answers and you 'll understand. I don't hate artists because i have a complex (and i find a reason here..) as others. I think that some songs are awful and horrendous (I referred them). When someone blames an artist that i like, i have the right to answer him. It happens in the forums..

This is the most front loaded I've seen Jls, their dropping so fast now, I predict a chart run similar to Take A Chance On Me.

Of course you have the right to answer him but do you really think "Taylor Swift is great and she has the awards to prove it, "Niggas In Paris" is terrible" is a solid argument. You probably don't actually, which is why you're now not giving a straight answer.

Azealia Banks at #24 & #161 - seems they've decided to release a clean version (though the explicit version is cheaper at 79p) - either way should help it climb a place or two officially. I don't think that all her songs are better than "Niggas In Paris" but it's a little bit tragic to be in the Top 10 (Like T.H.E). Will I Am has amazing songs with Black-Eyed Peas but his own material is always bad. I know that many musicians take part in Grammys and they have given her so many prizes because of her music. Surely, many people believe that her music is very boring..I accept this answer. But she is not horrendous..Furthermore, her music is not acceptable from the british audience because it's country..

Niggas in Paris going top 10 wasn't "tragic" at all in my opinion. It just depends on whether you like the song or not whether you're happy to see it in the top 10. And I think will.i.am has lots of great songs outside the BEPs.

 

I agree that Taylor Swift is talented. Admittedly, I've only heard a few of her songs, but I never liked any of them though. But that's just not my type of music really, I'm sure she's a talented person.

Yeah. There's sometimes some very "manufactured" pop songs I like (e.g. some of Rihanna's songs), and I sometimes have to go through massive explanations because people can't accept that I like the sound of a song not written by the credited artist. :lol: I can give credit to artists that completely make their own music, but ultimately the songs still have to be to my liking for me to listen to them and praise them, and sometimes the "manufactured" songs sound better to me.

Yeah, i agree that a song doesn't sound any better if the artist wrote it or not :lol: One thing that does tend to happen is that artists that write their own material are able to give much more personality to their tours/live performances etc and so it shows in that.

 

Most of the artists/bands i like do write their own material but that's just a coincidence as i often find that out after listening to their albums.
