Posted March 21, 201213 yr http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news...ck-trail-767556 Looks like the comeback success of Steps has spurred on S Club 7 to do the same thing! Something tells me that it won't be a success on quite the same scale, but you never know (not sure what the general public opinion about Jo is these days?). I certainly couldn't imagine a new 'Best Of' going to #1...As with Steps though, I'll be first in line for tickets to the tour, if they announce dates. Impromptu S Club 7/S Club rate; 11 Bring It All Back 09 S Club Party 10 Two In A Million 08 You're My Number One 09 Reach 09 Natural 09 Never Had A Dream Come True 10 Don't Stop Movin' 10 Have You Ever 08 You 06 Alive 10 Say Goodbye 07 Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You Some of their album tracks were better than these though - Let Me Sleep should have been picked over Alive for a start. Stand By You, I'll Be There (Tina's moment to shine), I Really Miss You, Show Me Your Colours, Straight From The Heart and Bring The House Down are all at least 9's.
March 21, 201213 yr OH MY GOD. THE EXCITEMENT. THE MEMORIES. I never got the chance to see them live so this brings joy to my life. 10 Bring It All Back 09 S Club Party 09 Two In A Million 09 You're My Number One 08 Reach 10 Natural 09 Never Had A Dream Come True 08 Don't Stop Movin' 08 Have You Ever 07 You 06 Alive 11 Say Goodbye 08 Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You I agree about album tracks being better than most singles. Stand By You, Show Me Your Colours, Dance, Who Do You Think You Are... The Seeing Double album was pretty solid for an S Club (7) album. WHAT IS LOVE? COS BABY I DONT KNOW. I GOT A FUNNY FEELING IN MY HEART. IF THIS IS LOVE, IT FEELS LIKE BUTTERFLIES.
March 21, 201213 yr I LOVED S Club. They had far more good songs than people realise, and I agree that some of the album tracks would have potentially been stronger singles (although I think all of the singles were pretty strong.) It always bemused me that Seeing Double was one of their strongest albums but fared so badly and led to their demise.
March 21, 201213 yr I did love a bit of S Club 7. 10 || Bring It All Back 10 || S Club Party 10 || Two In A Million 09 || You're My Number One 11 || Reach 07 || Natural 11 || Never Had A Dream Come True 11 || Don't Stop Movin' 09 || Have You Ever 06 || You 08 || Alive 10 || Say Goodbye 09 || Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You Sooooooooooooo Good. Only a Sugababes singles rate would see more 11's.
March 21, 201213 yr I absolutely LOVED S Club 7. They were so good, was seriously gutted that I never got to see them live ... their TV show was pretty damn amazing too. My rate; 10 Bring It All Back 09 S Club Party 09 Two In A Million 08 You're My Number One 10 Reach 09 Natural 10 Never Had A Dream Come True 09 Don't Stop Movin' 10 Have You Ever 08 You 09 Alive 10 Say Goodbye 09 Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You 'Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You' and 'Alive' are seriously underrated imo.
March 21, 201213 yr I would post something along the lines of 'Oh Good Lord no! :puke2:' but I would be lying if I said they weren't an INTEGRAL part of my childhood :lol: I think I've only heard Bring It All Back, S Club Party, Reach, Never Had a Dream Come True and Don't Stop Movin', but all are at least 7/10 moments
March 21, 201213 yr If they have any more Reach or Don't Stop Movin among any new material they might do, count me in. I really love both of those, especially the latter. I haven't heard half of the rest, and I can take or leave what I have heard. Oh, Have You Ever as well. Those 3 are solid gold pop songs.
March 21, 201213 yr Author Have You Ever is so classy for a pop band single, Jo sounds sublime on it, it's like a long lost Carpenters classic or something. Shame she became so vilified in the media because along with Melanie C, in my opinion she had the strongest voice in British pop in the late 90s/early 00s.
March 21, 201213 yr Great news, would love to see them on tour! + Miami 7 etc need DVD releases, please. :kink:
March 21, 201213 yr Oh my god - S Club were my childhood! I grew up listening to them. Sunshine was the first CD I ever owned. Singles rate: 09.0 Bring It All Back 08.5 S Club Party 08.0 Two In A Million 09.0 You're My Number One 09.5 Reach 08.5 Natural 10.0 Never Had A Dream Come True 09.5 Don't Stop Movin' 10.0 Have You Ever 10.0 You 09.0 Alive 11.0 Say Goodbye :cry: 07.5 Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You They had some brilliant album tracks too - LET ME SLEEP :wub:, Show Me Your Colours, Summertime Feeling, I Really Miss You :wub:, etc. And the TV shows! Gosh, they were brilliant. I still watch LA 7 and Hollywood 7 occasionally as I have them on VHS. :P
March 21, 201213 yr Has this actually been confirmed anywhere? The amount of times that this has been said is crazy!
March 21, 201213 yr Has this actually been confirmed anywhere? The amount of times that this has been said is crazy! No idea, but just let me enjoy the moment. :P Looking at the photo in the article - Paul has put on a lot of weight! I wasn't even sure it was him to start off with.
March 21, 201213 yr I'm having a total S Club session now in celebration of this news. I had forgotten just how much I like them.
March 21, 201213 yr I'm far more interested with a S Club comeback than with Steps. I loved these guys so much, still have one of the TV shows and the film on video somewhere. My favourite was Jo at the time but I prefer Rachel now. Let's hope a tour goes ahead, would be so great to see them live again.
March 21, 201213 yr Tina tweeted "hmmmm" or something like that in which Jo replied "hmmm indeed" - Really don't know what to make of that, but they've neither confirmed or denied it. I would LOVE them to reform, definitely one of my favourites from my childhood, I preferred them to Steps by far (I still love Steps too though) NATURAL IS THEIR BEST SONG. Underrated imo. :(
March 21, 201213 yr Some of their album tracks were better than these though - Let Me Sleep should have been picked over Alive for a start. Stand By You, I'll Be There (Tina's moment to shine), I Really Miss You, Show Me Your Colours, Straight From The Heart and Bring The House Down are all at least 9's. Haha I loved Let Me Sleep, as well as Hey Kitty Kitty :kink: obviously I Really Miss You as well :wub: 10 Bring It All Back 10 S Club Party 10 Two In A Million 10 You're My Number One 07 Reach 07 Natural 10 Never Had A Dream Come True 04 Don't Stop Movin' 09 Have You Ever 08 You 06 Alive 11 Say Goodbye 10 Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You Lots of 10's for me :wub: Never been overly keen on Don't Stop Movin'
March 21, 201213 yr wow Steps are back, b*witched are half back under a diff name (the important half at least), and now S Club?? hello childhood nice to see you back in 2012 :dance:
March 21, 201213 yr 10: Bring It All Back 10: S Club Party 07: Two In A Million 06: You're My Number One 09: Reach 08: Natural 10: Never Had A Dream Come True 10: Don't Stop Movin' 09: Have You Ever 08: You 10: Alive 08: Say Goodbye 09: Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You oh I did love them a lot back in the day, 's club party' would probably be my favourite from them. so catchy, so fun. :wub: 'alive' would actually be close behind, one of their more underrated singles. seeing them re-united is good news! :D I hope they go on tour like steps have, so I could go and see them as well.
March 21, 201213 yr S Club 7. The only act who have all of their albums in my CD collection and the only act who have all their TV shows/series watched by me. I was A MASSIVE FAN when I was 5/6. :D :wub: 07 || Bring It All Back 08 || S Club Party 09 || Two In A Million 08 || You're My Number One 10 || Reach 08 || Natural 10 || Never Had A Dream Come True 09 || Don't Stop Movin' 08 || Have You Ever 10 || You 09 || Alive 11 || Say Goodbye :wub: Edited March 21, 201213 yr by Griff
