Carly is now #1

Now she needs a big lead to maintain it, its still tight at the top.

Will still be an interesting chart battle this week - Sean Paul managed to advance on Katy Perry two weeks ago and overtook Chris Brown on Sunday - I wouldn't rule him out. Likewise, 'Starships' has the video + two additional versions (album + deluxe album) to boost it. I imagine it'll be high sales for all three this week.
Carly No.1!!! My first prediction!!! I hope Marinna will do the same!!

003 Starships (SV)

014 Turn Me On (David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj)

098 Super Bass (DAV)

155 Starships (DAV)

167 Right By My Side (featuring Chris Brown)

177 Va Va Voom

182 Pound the Alarm

184 Marilyn Monroe

220 Where Them Girls At (David Guetta featuring Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj)

229 Whip It

245 Fly (featuring Rihanna)

283 Roman Holiday

312 Young Forever

331 Automatic

439 Stupid Hoe (AV)

469 Masquerade

570 Make Me Proud (Drake featuring Nicki Minaj)

609 Starships [Nicki Minaj Remake] (The Supreme Team)

629 Super Bass (Now 79)

631 Super Bass (AV)

640 Beautiful Sinner

641 Stupid Hoe (DAV)

661 Sex in the Lounge (featuring Lil Wayne & Bobby V)

809 Moment 4 Life (featuring Drake)

843 Give Me All Your Luvin' (Party Rock Remix) (Madonna featuring Nicki Minaj & LMFAO)

^ That's quite incredible considering it's been less than 12 hours since made available.

I bought the album from Amazon (MP3) for £4.99, which I thought was a pretty epic deal - purchasing 'Va Va Voom' and 'Masquerade' from the deluxe edition on iTunes.

Odd seeing a 'Starships' remake at #609 though - when three official versions are now available for purchase - silly people.

Will do a Labrinth one later - unless someone else wants to do it.

Breakeven #43 too

Yeah, somebody sang The Man Who Can't Be Moved on The Voice, Breakeven must've been used in the background but I can't remember if I heard it when I watched

Flo Rida - Good Feeling is one of the main theme songs of wrestlemania so there could be a small boost for this song, its number 45 at the moment. Good Feeling and Wild Ones were both performed so maybe wild ones could rise as well, at number 7 now.

Flo Rida - Good Feeling up to number 44 thanks to wrestlemania

Wow from 45 to 44! More likely just a random minor fluctuation than an boost due to Wrestlemania, of which the viewing figures were probably miniscule?

Yeah, somebody sang The Man Who Can't Be Moved on The Voice, Breakeven must've been used in the background but I can't remember if I heard it when I watched

 Probably, The Voice has been really great for Jessie & Danny looking at iTunes!

End Of Time not going to make top 40 :( 59p maybe?

Olly Murs perfoming now on This Morning, wonder if it'll go at least #10.

Wow, surprising week !

I really don't get the global love for that Carly song. It still sounds like a Rebecca Black's song to my ears...

We have a pretty great top 10 though, so I don't complain too much.

It always amazes me how well songs do after performances on these TV shows.

I mean, I LOVE 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' (i'd go as far as saying it's one of my favourite ever songs) but it was already a big hit back in 2008! And it's been on the radio, on the music channels and performed on TV shows for years since then, plus the fact it's on their million selling album. It's weird to think that people are only now just buying it after a 30 second performance on a singing contest TV show. And it's as high as #16!

Have these people who are buying it only just heard it on The Voice for the first time or something? :P

Just youtubed that 'Call Me Maybe' song, what a shallow crock of shit. I've really been going off lots of chart music over the last year or so. :(
