Another good set of odds for Ramrynia there! Not quite as good as RontBet, but still one of the contenders - so I'm happy with that! :D

RontBet's odds for Emma had to be that low, considering Emma has won for FSR Rontvia twice before. The bookies would go bankrupt if they gave her long odds and she made it three on the trot! The Rontvian punters are very supportive of their past entrants, especially winners, and always rush out to put money on them based on name alone if they appear in the contest again.

Good point!! Hopefully all Emma's odds will be decent as they have been so far!

Kylienips' entry is definitely their strongest and most accessible for a while, now might be the moment! :o

Would certainly be egg on the faces of those who laughed when Mikey revealed that he was 'going pop' this month if he managed to come top 5 with this entry, which I don't think is out of the realms of possibility at all.

I need to challenge my output through a different channel. I guess I found my new niche join the bandwagon.

If Mikey succeeds then perhaps Daehun might attempt jumping on the bandwagon too

Haven't heard Semi 1 yet, but considering its quite pop i'm expecting a few gems in there ^_^

Is this mix of rhetoric and clichés actually in English?! :(

Opening odds to win from Synbrokes:

5/1 (Batidas) Ida - I Can Be

Another tough one this month, but I'd be surprised if the winner isn't one of that top seven.

Although I really shouldn't get too excited just yet. How can I forget the infamous Le Kid 'America' dominance of the odds in BJSC XXXIV (when I hosted) and then to see it fail to even finish in the top 10 in the final. :o

Odds aren't too bad. Decided on going with something a bit more pop than my more recent entries ^_^

A little different to my semi predictions as its odds to win now, but the main principle is I'm seeing a two horse race between Yuxhaaq and Kylienips, the latter could be the one that the non-pop voters pile behind while picking up decent votes across the spectrum, while the former will almost certainly pick up loads of votes from pop voters. Bertine Zetlitz, Dragonette, Emma Lewin, Regina Spektor and Eva Simons should also be in the mix as well. Maybe even iamamiwhoami too. :o

After Addy finally got his first BJSC win after so many contests, maybe this month will see Kylienips finally get their first win? :o I do think 'Bodywork' is the best track Mikey's entered into BJSC since 'Drama Queen'.

However, because of the Sheelah connection, I suspect Emma Lewin will do well too.

I shall post my opening odds over the next few days (most likely Monday :D ).

More great odds for Emma! Hopefully this is all pointing toward another good result! :D
Bitch please. My Name Is Kay has the dark horse tag :kink:
If anything the Sheelah association should drag Emma down to the depths of hell (Where she can join Ramrynia and Chrisland) as No Excuses is just so shit compared to Psycho and The Last Time. Especially the latter as it's just a poor rip off of it. It's why I was already leaning towards Nause when Emma was half inched.

This is what I'm thinking too when someone mentions the Sheelah connection. But I do think No Excuses is just as good as The Last Time and Psycho - even though I know not many share that opinion.

Hopefully people will try and disregard the Sheelah association and judge the song in its own right, which I think is of very high quality! :D

People shouldn't even judge No Excuses because the singer is partially from Sheelah, I mean you are meant to judge on the quality and not being bias right? :D

I do however not get Ashton for ChrIseland using a singer which was once sent before. Ramrynia is understandable as she was one of your choices this month but why ChrIseland. It's safe to say any Ashtonese acts must not be used in the contest if you wish to keep on the good side of them...

I agree! I understand Ashton's attitude towards Ramrynia at the moment, but I'd just like to reiterate that I had no idea that Ashton was considering it when I confirmed it as I hadn't visited his national thread. That's why when I found out I immediately changed to Molly, but then she was vetoed and Ashton had confirmed Nause, so I went back to Emma. Sorry I keep repeating myself, but I don't want people to think I'm a song-stealer :D

Back to your point! Hopefully, people won't compare it to the Sheelah singles and judge it in it's own right whether that be a good thing or a bad thing :)

Judging by all those odds it seems I'll flop big time. And I thought my entry has "commercial" attitude! Oh well, at least I like it. :P

I'm rooting for Allecian at the moment, but I don't think they will win. Still haven't heard the semi 1 and haven't voted, as I didn't have time. I'll sort it out now anyway. :P

Thanks Arrs! Nice to know that people appreciate my entry!

20/1 - Umiiruka - Baron Von Luxxury ft. Little Boots - That Disco Beat

Those are suspiciously good odds.
