April 5, 201213 yr Author Ok picked a random year - 2010 Songs I can't even hum... Helping Haiti : Everybody Hurts (I can hum the REM version but can't even remember a cover being number 1) Jason Derulu : In My Head (?) Scouting For Girls : This Ain't A Love Song David Guetta : Gettin Over You Roll Deep : Green Light Haiti and that Guetta song have been forgotten about, "In My Head" sing Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" and there you are....plagarised melody. Scouting for Girls.....I do hear this song often on the radio, so it's still fresh in the head. Ciara with "Goodies".....is that the one that sounds like a car alarm going off? It must have been one REALLY DEAD week. Nelly again with "Over and Over"....I don't even remember a note! Considering he has had some good songs, he has hit the summit with a lot of dull dross! His #1 with Notoruis Big with "Nasty Girl" is unmemorable too. No-one put Crazy Frog.....we all remember Jamster hammering it the week it made #1.....It got that bad I was sticking with BBC the whole week! Orson - "No Tomorrow" - a great song, but I bet the general public don't know it well. "All Summer Long" as mentioned by a previous poster....has not been heard since 2008. I would say "That's My Goal" by Shayne Ward is forgotten....even if it's the only and good original winners song from X-Factor.
April 5, 201213 yr I'm surprised no-one has mentioned '3 Of A Kind - Baby Cakes' - or perhaps that's because it's *so* unmemorable that everyone has forgotten it? :lol:Or is that because you just don't like it? Are you joking? I understand not everybody likes that song, but I'd say it's one of the more memorable ones (partly for that reason). :lol:Definitely agree. I think a couple of people could do with putting their personal opinions to one side for this topic and stop naming songs that they dislike as opposed to actually naming songs that have been unmemorable.
April 5, 201213 yr All Saints - Black Coffee (never mentioned/played when it comes to AS nostalgia) Gareth Gates - Anyone Of Us (Stupid Mistake) (bet 95% of people could only name "Unchained Melody" or "Spirit In The Sky") It depends where you live really. Here in Finland these were the biggest or one of the biggest hits by the artists. And Ciara's Goodies is fabulous and classic amongst the r&b/rap fans. Edited April 5, 201213 yr by SKOB
April 5, 201213 yr I remember this wonder VIVIDLY but go outside music fanatics and I think we have a bit of a HUH? moment... Omrp4QR_Rpo&ob=av2n Outside of Kylie or music/chart fans, I don't think any of the singles from Body Language are remembered - probably not eveb the album itself!
April 5, 201213 yr 2009 Number 1's I couldn't hum Kelly Clarkson : My Life Would Suck Without You FLo Rida : Right Round Pixie Lott : Mama Do Tinchy Stryder : Never Leave You Pixie Lott : Boys And Girls I'm sure I've probably heard the Kelly Clarkson song but no idea on how it goes
April 5, 201213 yr I'm sure I've probably heard the Kelly Clarkson song but no idea on how it goes Apparantly it sounds quite like Lady Gaga's Edge of Glory
April 5, 201213 yr Apparantly it sounds quite like Lady Gaga's Edge of Glory It doesn't sound anything like The Edge Of Glory  cRM70Jw7F4M It pains me such an amazing song goes forgotten, but I would agree it's a forgotten number 1 sadly :( I'm just glad she managed to get a number 1 at all, even if it isn't as remembered as Since U Been Gone or even Because Of You and Behind These Hazel Eyes.
April 5, 201213 yr The Way To Your Love is such a classic imo - by far the best thing they did. I agree with you on that and I will admit to actually buying that single when it came out, I was never a fan of theirs but I loved that song at the time, I just never usually admit to owning a Hear'say song to most people.
April 5, 201213 yr Sonique- It Feels So Good Britney Spears - Born To Make You Happy Madison Avenue- Don't Call Me Baby I actually think quite a few songs what went #1 in the early 00's seem quite unmemorable now.
April 5, 201213 yr Sonique- It Feels So Good Britney Spears - Born To Make You Happy Madison Avenue- Don't Call Me Baby I actually think quite a few songs what went #1 in the early 00's seem quite unmemorable now. Given the rapid turnover of #1's at that time, that's quite understandable!
April 5, 201213 yr Ne-Yo 'Beautiful Monster' ^ A real out-of-the-blue #1 from Ne-Yo there, followed up with a rush-released album and 'One in a Million' somehow managed a #20 peak when released the same week.

That was the one! Plus JLS's piss poor "Club is Alive"....2010 had a lot of dross number ones.
April 5, 201213 yr All Saints - Black Coffee (never mentioned/played when it comes to AS nostalgia) This song is anything but unmemorable. Maybe people just forget it reached number one because it was so different? A song truly ahead of its time.
April 5, 201213 yr Sonique- It Feels So Good Britney Spears - Born To Make You Happy Madison Avenue- Don't Call Me Baby I actually think quite a few songs what went #1 in the early 00's seem quite unmemorable now. The Sonique song was absolutely huge at that time - it being 3 weeks at the top back them was quite an achiemevent and it also was a big hit all over Europe and the US. Doubt anyone who was into charts in the early 00s is unabble to remember it  Even though i am not from the UK i remember loads of the songs named - think it depens on how interested you are in music and charts
April 5, 201213 yr Author Jack Your Body by Steve Silk Hurley sticks out from 1987.....can anyone remember this who was around at that time? mQcg-dRg5h4 I know there is obvious reasons behind this....but aside from "Do You Wanna Be In My Gang", "Rock N Roll" and "Rock N Roll Christmas", Gary Glitter's "Always Yours" isn't that memorable unless you're big into 70s music and around that time: -OQ-LT7MQ_I
April 5, 201213 yr Whoever said Black Coffee by the All Saints is forgotten and never mentioned needs to smell the coffee frankly - it is very well thought of and nearly always mentioned especially when discussing great All Saints songs!

There are some BIZARRE suggestions in this thread.
