Only Drake gets credited on songs he isn't on. First All of the Lights, now R.I.P. Although I can understand how he'd end up credited on both by mistake.

I think STIUTK has done so well BECAUSE it's not revolutionary. These sort of songs do so well precisely because everybody likes them and they offend absolutely no one. It was the same with "Moves Like Jagger" and it'll be the same with "We Are Young".

I don't like MLJ. (Sorry for shocking you all there folks).

 72. RIP feat. Tinnie Tempah & Drake - Rita Ora

I just checked and this is indeed on some illegally released compilation of (presumably) unreleased hip-hop songs, similar to the one Billionaire was on which caused it to go all the way to #11 on iTunes before being deleted. I could tell before checking from the shoddy crediting though. Let's see how high R.I.P. will go :P

The weekend effect is significant for Blackout. :( Down to #17. I don't think it will be top 20 tomorrow.

Oh! Blue Jeans is not yet top 40 on iTunes. Climb Lana climb!

Nooooooo. Bye bye Azealia. :(

LaserLight will probably shoot up after The Voice aswell as Jessie's whole discography always does. Maybe top 5 on iTunes by then! :o

Hopefully Connor can knock Chris Brown out of the top 10 tommorrow. I just heard him on the radio and he said his song IS being released tommorrow. He also said he used to listen to Usher, Ne-Yo and Justin Timberlake when he was younger, so he's probably quite flattered by the Justin Timberlake comparisons to be honest. I just hope Sway doesn't fall below Chris. It would be amazing if Sway could get 2 weeks in the top 10, but it looks unlikely.

How does everyone think Marina and the Diamonds' 'Primadonna' and B.o.B's 'So Good' will fare - both will be 'front-loaded' to an extent, I definitely see both cracking the top 15, not sure about the top 10; hoping Marina can get there.

fun. could actually end up at #2 officially tomorrow then, with Usher down to #5 and Bieber down to #6 (!) it'll catch up sales-wise relatively quickly.

RIP feat. Tinnie Tempah & Drake - Rita Ora up to #65, Drake is actually on this particular version, you can hear him on the ending of the iTunes preview, i presume they took his version and Rita's and put it in one

Climax  #5

Boyfriend  #6

In terms of Nicki's next single, i agree with Eric that PTA canNOT come straight after Starships. They're too similar, and Nicki needs to go back to urban/serious mode imo. Would love Marilyn Monroe to get a release (its my favourite if you take out all the offensive/rude songs that she probably won't release)

Ugh at 212 being kicked out of the top 10, but it was bound to get kicked out at some point. I hope it can re-enter the top 10 in the future but it's pretty unlikely :( At least it'll be stuck with a #12 peak instead of a frustrating #11 peak I suppose.

Breathe Carolina were #23 on Wednesday but only climbed to #22 by Friday, so if they keep falling now they're going to miss the top 20 :( Reminds me of the situation with 'Don't Trust Me' (3OH!3 are coincidentally another band that Brathe Carolina remind me of a bit, as well as Cobra Starship).

 62. RIP feat. Tinnie Tempah & Drake - Rita Ora

Climax FINALLY overtaking Boyfriend :w00t: Stay there please.

 91. Express Yourself - Labrinth

Random - is this his next single or has it just been used somewhere?

I think that B.o.B might surprise everyone tomorrow, I'm sure he has a relatively big fan base but not many people have heard it I don't think. It's fairly instant so I reckon when it starts surfacing on iTunes it might attract a lot of attention and shoot up the chart. At least top 10 I'd say, but I'm usually terrible at predicting

I wish they'd put Drake on the final version of RIP. It would increase the sales imo, and I would like to see Drake in the top 10 again. For such a popular artist it's weird that he's only spent 1 week in the top 10 in the past 12 months.

I don't think Azealia has a chance at top 10 again. Nelly Furtado's new song sounds a little bit like 212. But I honestly don't have a clue if it'll even get anywhere near the top 10.

I don't think B.o.B's fanbase can be that big judging by how Strange Clouds sold. And that's quite a UK friendly song aswell I think. I hope B.o.B does surprise though. So Good is brilliant. I think it sounds a big like Rolling in the Deep in the beat.

Good to see another Labrinth song in the top 100! I wonder why it's there though. He has better songs on the album though imo.

Ooh, B.o.B is out tomorrow? Hoping for a big hit, 'So Good' is my second favourite of his singles so far (behind 'Nothin' On You'). It's gone top 10 in Ireland which bodes well for it to be big here.

Just realised that 'LaserLight' has solved the whole 'no British artists top 10' thing for next week even if Conor doesn't release :D For that go Jessie I guess, although I haven't heard the song yet.

I can definitely see B.o.B. being this weeks "dark horse". I have a feeling he could "do a Sean Paul" and lead a lot of the way into the iTunes top 10...

EDIT: So pleased for Jessie too! :D

Oh no! RIP is being cherry-picked off a random compilation album :o

Now Laser Light is #10, I wonder if that can push Who You Are to #1 on iTunes album chart (#2 at the moment just behind Now 81).

I think this is going to climb quite high in the top 10, wonder if it can climb to top 3? :o

Now! 81 is going to be #1 for a long time, it's selling far more than any artist albums are at the moment.

I thought so Bre, i guess she has the highest artist album, I'm sure it'll boost Who You Are (album) sales though for sure.

Maybe she could finally get to #1 next week (she could even do it tomorrow as the only sales info we have is Adele having a 1.8k lead over Nicki, but I think she's more likely to do it next week if at all).

If she does do it next week that'll be reaching #1 for the first time on its 60th straight week top 40 - REALLY close to the record for that (David Gray's White Ladder which did it on its 64th week).

B.O.B is a really interesting artist. His album was absolutely phenomenal. 'Ghost In The Machine' is probably the best album track i've ever heard.

EDIT - anyone else think 'Laserlight's instrumental part in the chorus is a rip off of 'Save The World'?

100. Heartbeat - Childish Gambino

This is not his best song by a long shot ('All The Shine' and 'Bonfire' were both far better) but if it has a chance of getting Childish Gambino an official top 100 hit I'm all for this!

That isn't his best? I'm mesmerized by it. First song of the year I have adored.
