Thanks mate, great chart run for a indie single - 2 weeks top 40 as well!With the success of 'The Swarm' for You me @6 as well there's a sign indie is making a bit of a comeback on the singles chart - or at least people are looking for something different!!

It's horrible innit.

A whole bunch of the 59p songs have been put back to full price. Thankfully 'How To Save A Life' isn't one of them and is still at #32, should be relatively safe for top 40 :D 'Use Somebody' is also still 59p but now down to #37.

People saying that music TV is an irrelevance to me the other week. Look, Drake and Ri started playing on Monday, its across MTV, Starz, Dance Nation and Kiss and its up a whole 10 spots at least. Come on, do a Titanium!

The album is #1 in the iTunes album chart as well not suprisingly, Miles Kane's EP at #7 too!

I know Miles Kane isn't exactly the biggest artist ever but #7 seems a bit low in this sales climate. I've heard the title track quite a few times on Radio 1. (It's not as good as 'Inhaler' which is his only other song that I've heard).

 

EDIT: And in fact it's now #8. Lower than Nina Nesbitt's EP! (Glad to see her having some success, I was considering sending her to BJSC some time ago but none of her songs were on YT/SC :drama:)

Yeah his singles doing poorly....strange hes got a new album out already considering the last one came out this time last year,great album btw rearrange and inhaler are amazing.

It was on youtube two weeks ago, it premiered on TV this week and is currently getting its own premiere slots across the channels.

I'm actually really looking forward to hearing this new Maxïmo Park track. I've been listening to Our Velocity ALOT recently, and Wraithlike off the last album was great. :D

That's because it being an Indie EP it does one hell of a lot better in physicals, he ain't that big (album peaked at #11 I think) but he's done better than I thought considering that The Rascals weren't that big (or that good for that matter) but he's basically rode on the fact that he's Alex Turner's mate for the last four years now!

 

Anyway I'll get around to getting it this week, FOMK is probably the best thing he's done imo.

Is this OA/OS? I hope it's better than 'The Kids Are Sick Again', whilst it was a decent song, it just wasn't as good as Our Velocity, Apply Some Pressure, etc...

I tried to see if it was but its not on itunes as of yet!
