Sorry to go back to the discussion on Calvin Harris songs but how can 'Ready For The Weekend' be seen as crap by most of you? I think it's one his best songs!!. In fact, the whole second era singles (bar Flashback) are amazing.

 

Was really happy when (after listening to it about 100 times on the album) 'You Used To Hold Me' was released as a single with a video :)

I know I missed the Calvin discussion by a long way but I'm in the camp that dislikes Let's Go. To be honest as interested as I am in a new album from him I don't really know why. We Found Love and Feel So Close (especially Feel So Close) are amaze but Bounce is only alright and Let's Go is not good at all. I was hardly a fan prior to this era either. Carly to hold him off please, if only because him getting yet another #2 would be amusing.

I think if Ordinary People could stay up top for long enough, a new song from him could do well. Obviously it's silly to compare to Adele, but I think her success here was contributed to by Make You Feel My Love being so high from X Factor, keeping her name relevant. Could work for John Legend to, but obviously to a much lesser scale.

Hopefully. I just listened to it, and I think it's a really good song. I can't exactly see it getting much radio support though. Heart FM would probably play it. It's for a movie soundtrack apparently.
