April 15, 201213 yr 35 (from 50) Train - Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me) [D] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/5023062.JPG Chart Run 2001: 10-15-19-18-23-27-35-45 [8 wks] Chart Run: 53-50-35 [3 wks] Format: download only track Label: Sony The origins of Train's widescreen, Americana-tinged rock lay in the coffee-house acoustic duo that singer/songwriter Pat Monahan inaugurated with guitarist Rob Hotchkiss after the two left the L.A. band the Apostles. Eventually they expanded to a full band and released their first album themselves before it was picked up for wider distribution. Though initially a sleeper, it slowly produced a couple of hits, and the 2001 follow-up DROPS OF JUPITER broke Train through to full-fledged star status with its grandiloquent title track. - HMV Video here: 7Xf-Lesrkuc Chart history (Year peak title): 2001 10 Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me) 2002 49 She's On Fire 2010 18 Hey, Soul Sister
April 15, 201213 yr Reggie gets the wrong reason for Teenage Dirtbag returning once again. Don't think he would be allowed to say why it's returned to the chart this week
April 15, 201213 yr Reggie failed to realise that that audition was about three weeks ago?! Okay song. Convenient that it's back just as Train release a new song :P Edited April 15, 201213 yr by B.r.É
April 15, 201213 yr ?? In the music video, the part near the end, where the girl is like "I've got two tickets to Iron Maiden baby", and he sings it in falsetto.
April 15, 201213 yr two 2001 songs in a row :D this song is decent, I think I prefer Hey Soul Sister though Edited April 15, 201213 yr by C.W
April 15, 201213 yr John Legend still to come, I wouldn't be that surprised if he's already re-peaked!
April 15, 201213 yr Don't think he would be allowed to say why it's returned to the chart this week This. Radio 1 are supposed to avoid mentioning iTunes I think. Although he could probably have gotten away with just saying it got discounted. I remember he mentioned Titanium being discounted when it got to #1 (when he was interviewing Alyssa Reid), but he didn't mention iTunes specifically.

April 15, 201213 yr Yay, at least a third week top 40 for this :cheer: Still #40 on iTunes so there's a possibility of a fourth week.
April 15, 201213 yr Thrilled to see 'Drops Of Jupiter' back. One of my all time favourite songs
April 15, 201213 yr two 2001 songs in a row :D this song is decent, I think I prefer Hey Soul Sister though I agree, I prefer Hey, Soul Sister. Yes, Plan B!!!  Looks like its last week in the top 40 though. :( Maybe it might get a boost when he releases the film?
April 15, 201213 yr Looks like its last week in the top 40 though. :( Maybe it might get a boost when he releases the film? 'End Credits' dropped out of the top 40 really quickly but ended up sticking around in the top 100 forever and that was for a movie as well - so wishful thinking the same could happen here? :P
April 15, 201213 yr Considering this is banned from TV and only gets Radio 1 support (plus the fact it's got quite controversial lyrics), i'd say this has done pretty well anyway.
April 15, 201213 yr 33 (from 27) LMFAO - Sorry For Party Rocking [D] http://cdn.hmvdigital.com/static/img/sleeveart/00/012/968/0001296836_100.jpg Chart Run: 51-30-29-23-27-33 [6 wks] Format: download only track Video here: SkTt9k4Y-a8&ob=av2e Chart history (Year peak title): 2009 09 Let The Bass Kick In Miami Girl (Chuckie & LMFAO) 2010 01 Gettin' Over You (David Guetta And Chris Willis Feat. April 15, 201213 yr 'End Credits' dropped out of the top 40 really quickly but ended up sticking around in the top 100 forever and that was for a movie as well - so wishful thinking the same could happen here? :P End Credits made the year-end top 200 last year didn't it? :o Pretty amazing. These two songs being played next to each other shows there's quite a contrast in the rapping of Plan B and LMFAO. :drama:
