Ugh, if Katy Perry and Chris Brown hadn't got there, Tulisa would probably have the worst No.1 of the year so far. :puke2:

At least Lianne La Havas is in the Top 300 now

Glad CMM is off the top spot... its an ok song and catchy - but not really worthy of spending a month at the top...

I'm guessing now though that there is going to a revolving 1 week at number 1 now for a few weeks

im wondering now if the saturdays will have a realistic shot at the top spot.

The Sats will never get to number 1 - they've had quite a number of good opportunities too and always fail and they're not as popular as they once were (which was never hugely anyway)

Urgh Tulisa. Young is not a bad song, she's just a bad performer. But if Dappy can get a number one...

If they couldn't get there with 'All Fired Up' there's no way they're getting there with this new one.

Agreed, I honestly felt 'All Fired Up' was going to be their first number-one, '30 Days' is poor in comparison, though some of the remixes played on R1 during the weekend make it that much more enjoyable.

In regards to the number-ones over the next couple of weeks, I'm really unsure whether Rita Ora will grab #1 - I feel like they've really missed a trick in holding back its release so much - would much rather have Tulisa spend a second week at number-one if it means avoiding a string of one-weekers; 2012 has been pretty good at avoiding this thus far.

With a 'big' release released almost every week for the foreseeable future, we should have the following contenders;

May 05: Tulisa 'Young'

May 12: Rita Ora 'R.I.P. (feat. Tinie Tempah)'

May 19: The Saturdays '30 Days'

May 26: Jennifer Lopez 'Dance Again (feat. Pitbull)' / The Wanted 'Chasing the Sun'

Jun 02: Alexandra Burke 'Let It Go' / Rihanna 'Where Have You Been' *

* - Likely to have already entered the chart prior to this chart week though.

Of those, I think Tulisa and Rita Ora are most likely of reaching the top spot, so the three weeks of May 19, May 26 and June 2 could be anyone's really - hopefully Rihanna can top the chart somewhere in there and perhaps Fun. & Janelle Monae can grab a week or two.

I agree, I'm a MASSIVE Sats loon but I've come to terms with the fact they're neer going to get a number 1. The campaign for All Fired Up was going fantastically, it even managed #1 on iTunes, and it felt for a bit before like they actually had a chance. Shame they fell but that's the way things go. Same with Missing You, it showed they can do the right thing campaign wise, and nearly get #1 but they always fall short somehow.

I may be a stan making excuses, but I think that 30 Days is just a new song to keep their name out there. I can totally see it limping in at the bottom half of the top 10, plumetting a la Proud by JLS and being forgotten about and not included on the re-release/new album. I do love the track but it just doesn't sound like a hit at all to me, fingers crossed I'm wrong though!

I think Tulisa is going to be #1 this week clearly now. I hope Rita Ora can be #1 next week, although I'm still not sure. Fingers crossed.

The Saturdays, I don't think will get to #1, so could be fun. that week. The week after I think The Wanted have a shot, now that they're making it in the US there's so much more hype around them. Neither Alexandra or Rihanna are getting #1 imo, so I think that week might be fun. again, or The Wanted for a 2nd week.

That's my predictions, but I'll probably be wrong as usual.

I hope Cheryl's "Call My Name" is bring forward... I don't know but I feel 10th June is too far away.
Is anyone watching Lana Del Rey perform? I hope it means a good boost for 'Blue Jeans', really like the song :)

Was it me or Lana was shacking?

She must suffer from stage fright, she's soooo much better when singing in an intimate setting.
