After seeing how quickly Rita Ora got to number 1 on iTunes it made me wonder "which song was the slowest to get to number 1 on iTunes"?

 

Well, I guess Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, or something like that? It was probably put up for download when iTunes started, and only got to #1 last year?

 

But if you're talking about within a week, 5 O'Clock by T-Pain went REALLY slowly. People were celebrating it flopping on the Sunday afternoon still. :lol: I don't think it got there until Tuesday or Wednesday probably.

 

And the Fergie/LMFAO remix of Gettin' Over You by David Guetta got to #1 on iTunes really late in the week, like on Thursday or Friday and actually made it officially!

I think the military wives song was the fastest to get to number 1, i remember seeing it at number 1 at 2:00 am only about 2 hours after release.

I don't think I've seen a song debuted at #1 tbh. Not even X-Factor winner singles had that.

The 2 four-track EPs (identical?) are showing up at #50 and #70 on the albums chart too - should creep into the top 100 officially, but the group's releases are seemingly getting progressively worse, and it shows in their chart positions - not to mention that their debut 'Feel Good' doesn't show up on iTunes by their name.
