I remember watching something on the Norwegian news about one of the first snow fall in UK... It was just a couple of cm and UK became so chaotic!

Is it true that you don't use winter tires in UK? That would been a suicide to not change into winter tires in Norway

I've had my winter tyres on for a year now :kink: Just in case

Nah, I just forgot to change back :kink:

Two years ago Fife Council got all smarmy and sold their grit to other councils who were scrambling for it, then we got hit by the bad weather and not a single road (except the car park of Fife House of course) got gritted for three weeks.

It's almost got to the point where I'm expecting there to be chaos when there's even the slightest suggestion of snow in the UK. That said generally us down the far south only see the snow when it's particularly bad!

If these results aren't ready by half ten I genuinely think it probably would be for the best just to do them by text form. I mean, it's nice to have a novel method of presenting the results, but if it's taken an hour and a half just in delays (not to mention the work Tom was probably doing on it before 9) then it's probably far more effort than it's worth.

Some people do, but our winter is so changeable it's not worth it half the time. I've driven in the snow in normal summer times and it's not been too bad.

I personally don't see the need in the UK for them. You have to pay to buy them, store them and have them fitted and it's really not cheap over here.

On the other hand, if we're going to get this all in text form, ALL the spent effort will be wasted, and the productivity will be 0% instead of at least some%. And I think you'll all agree with me that the idea is brilliant.

I'd say maybe we could move it to Friday?

Better be 'piggfritt' or else you will get a ticket if you get caught :P

I have 'piggfritt' but I changed to summer tyres 1st of May, a bit risky as it was only a couple of days after I had been driving in snow. I was lucky though as it havn't snowed since :D

Sorry guys, my Radio broadcast has f***ed up :( I can present the votes normally now and upload the radio show later if you want? Otherwise tbh we'll probably be waiting until after Eurovision, though tomorrow night may be JUST ABOUT possible.

Ha!

How old are you Freeze? I didn't think you were old enough to drive :drama:

Sadly I have to agree. :( If it gets to 11pm and we're no closer to starting this, I'll be turning off BJSC Radio for the night.

I'd say results now would be better. The broadcast would be fun but it'd be a bit of a juggle following both text and broadcast at once, and I'd imagine a fair amount of people would probably still tune in for the novelty of the results via radio.
Thanks for your efforts Tom :) Can we have the votes now and then I'd certainly be happy to catch up with the radio show later

Results now would probably better. As tomorrow is Semi Final 2 of ESC and Friday is the build up to the final.

I'm f***ing gutted. Sorry guys. OK text results coming up in the next 10 minutes.
Ha!

He have the coolest car

I have a red Ford Orion 91'

I'd just present them normally if I were you, seems like a lot of stress and effort for the radio show!
