Dot Rotten in 90's Dance Sample song Paramore likes shocker!

Robert Miles's 'Children' should be sacred but this effort is a little classy.

I was gonna ask what Paramore had to do with it, until I realised it's your username :P

I should add a disclaimer to my sig *Rantings of this crazy fan do not reflect the thoughts and opinion of Paramore, all rights reserved* ;)

I don't get why they've not A-listed Paloma. I seem to remember them being staunch supporters of her in the past? And surely a lead single with a very good chance of doing well is automatic A-list fodder.

Cheryl made it, thank goodness. Was a bit worried.

yay for nelly moving up to the b-list, as well as avicii, cheryl, emeli and kelly being added to the c-list! :D
Sneakbo in the C-list :cheer: :cheer: , i hope it does better than The Wave
Dark Side is one of the best songs i ever heard!! It has very good lyrics too. Very rare for a pop track..I'm glad for two songs too. My Kind Of Love is an amazing ballad and Call My Name always makes my mood.. Where is "Let It Go"...??? Why they snubbed her again?? It is much better than "Elephant"!!!
Alex still not on it ?? Carly already off it? R1 i'm disappointed
I'm glad Nelly has moved up. I feel like her label have already given up on this song by delaying the album, so I hope Big Hoops can prove them wrong and still be a hit.

I was gutted when that missed the top 40. :( He's not signed to a major record label either, which makes it a lot more heartbreaking for me. Same with JME and Alexa Goddard both narrowly missing the top 40 this year. :( I hate it when songs in general miss the top 40 so closely, but if it's someone like Pitbull or Katy Perry it's like "Who cares, they're worldwide superstars", but it would've meant so much to those artists to make the top 40.

And THANK GOODNESS Nelly Furtado is up to the B-List.

It needs to be a hit in the US for them to care, but I still hope it's a hit here of course. Her label were probably scared by how poorly it did on iTunes when it was released, but they really have to realize that it's a long time since 2007. She's not one of the biggest pop girls in the world anymore, so her label need to know they can't expect any song from her to do well unless they promote them. I hope if they release another pre-album single they sent the song for adds on radio (pop, rhythmic, urban, etc.) at the same time as release, rather than waiting a few weeks, because her songs won't sell by themselves. I still see comments on her Youtube videos saying things like "Oh, I miss Nelly, I wish she'd release more music". Most of the general public don't have a clue she's releasing new material I think. She needs the radio airplay, and as long as she's got a good song, I think it'll all spiral off from there and she'll be back to as popular as she used to be. (Sorry for this essay, just really want her to do well ).

Fantastic additions! Avicii/Salem, Kelly, Cheryl, Emeli and Luciana :cheer:
Aiden up to the B-List - excellent stuff :)

MTE! Didn't see that coming.

And The Saturdays up to A-list! Wow... thought they would be left out this week after being B-list for what? 3 weeks?

Kelly! Perfect timing with the announcement of her arena tour this year, too!

It's funny because before Big Hoops came out it felt like there was a lot of hype for it but the way it just appeared on iTunes before it was sent to radio was such an anti climax and then things just started to fall apart from there.

I think there are a lot of people behind this song because it recalls the time of those great hip hop / rnb / pop songs of 2006 - SOS, Maneater, Hips Don't Lie, Sexy Back, Deja Vu. I thought there'd be enough people who wanted a respite from the David Guetta/Calvin Harris/RedOne/LMFAO indenti-dance that plagues the charts at the moment.

I'm just worried that the delay means some rush sessions with Dr Luke or someone when what the best thing about Big Hoops is is that it doesn't like current LOLpop.

Grimshaw getting more attention than Burke, that's a turn up for the books! Don't think he'll enjoy the same support from commercial radio though.
