June 24, 201213 yr Tbh, "Loud" is the only Rihanna album worth having imo. Nicki has already release 2 good albums although RR has its problems. Edited June 24, 201213 yr by SKOB
July 5, 201212 yr Almost top 10 on UK iTunes! :D I suspect from now it'll "do a 'Starships'" and spend a ridiculous amount of time in the top 10  SUMMER ANTHEM RIGHT HERE!
July 5, 201212 yr Glad this looking like it'll be the hit it deserves to be, it still sounds as fresh and as amazing the first time I heard it!
July 31, 201212 yr Very summery, I love how it shows off Trinidad and her roots including the use of instrumental at the start and all the outfits. She looks more comfortable too, overall an improvement on the Starships video.
July 31, 201212 yr That's a very good bit of promo for Trinidad there. Their tourist board will be most pleased. I like the video very much! It's pretty much exactly what the song needed - summery and fun and dancey with lots of jumping up and down.
July 31, 201212 yr I'm all for her representing Trinidad but this song just doesn't fit the video, she looks a bit awkward in the scenes with the landscape behind her, and just a stubby mess when she's walking up the street....Va Va Voom next please.
July 31, 201212 yr Summery video, which is good, but I feel the same with Joe, I'm not sure it entirely goes with the song. Still will do the song very well now having the video out, another big hit for Minaj!
July 31, 201212 yr Much better video than Starships, but much like Starships I'm with Karma - it doesn't go with the song as much as it could :/ I think it be better going for another song, but it's still good. At least we got it in time so it can have a decent effect, rather than coming out just as the song begins to rocket down to #29.
July 31, 201212 yr I think it goes FAIRLY well with the song and it's a visually pleasant affair but rather dull. :( My main problem is simply the editing and perhaps the camera work. I felt for a really large part of the video they just refused to focus on anything for more than a second or two (which I can't stand) and also they could have used more close up shots of Nicki during the party/festival/whatever scenes. Cut out the random bit at the end too, it's so pointless. I didn't really expect this to be anything special though (will she ever make another video as good as Super Bass?) and it's reminded me the song exists so it's all good.
July 31, 201212 yr Oh, I love that! The fact she's gone back to her Trinidadian roots and really incorporated her culture into the video is brilliant! I love the outfits, the way it's filmed during the breakdowns and the fireworks scene at the end! Brilliant! Today is very good for new videos, Amelia, Carrie and now this! :cheer:
July 31, 201212 yr The first verse is the best thing about the whole song. Her verses fascinate me, so bizarre. I'm a bad bitch no muzzle, HEY. Edited July 31, 201212 yr by Karma
July 31, 201212 yr The video is pretty much what I was expecting when I heard it'd be filmed in Trinidad, but there's something that doesn't click right. I had the same problem with "Starships" (though this is about 10 times better), the song and the video don't seem to match up. There seems to be some wrong with the pace, as it doesn't seem to match up to the lyrics or the beat. It's like whoever edits her videos needs to brush up on their skills for pop videos. Nice though, glad it wasn't released too late.
July 31, 201212 yr 'Superbass' is still by FAR her best pop video. I wish she would add more simple choreography to her videos, they lack structure, or even a time span. 'Va Va Voom', 'Whip It' or 'Automatic' next please. This ones probably my least favorite pop songs on her album. However, it is still a great track, just a bit generic after a couple listens.
July 31, 201212 yr Automatic IS next apparently, with a Misha B remix as the single version. Rumours only atm but I've heard it banded around a lot!
July 31, 201212 yr Automatic IS next apparently, with a Misha B remix as the single version. Rumours only atm but I've heard it banded around a lot! Automatic would be a great choice, on of my favourites on the album. But a Misha B remix for the single version? Please no! :drama:
