October 26, 201113 yr Down to #3 on Digital Songs with 173k (down 16% week-on-week). Rihanna is 58k ahead, it could be close between the two for the Hot 100 #1 today. Fingers crossed Adele has held on so she matches the 5 weeks at #1 she got in the UK with SLY. On the bright side, '21' is back at #1 :D Eighth run there and 13th week overall (the latter is the most since the Titanic OST's 16 weeks in 1998 - not sure what the last album to have 9+ runs at #1 was, or what the last artist album to have 14+ weeks at #1 was). EDIT: Actually, it probably won't be close between Adele and Rihanna at all - Ri is far more than 58mill behind on airplay. Billboard's airplay figures are different to the ones posted on BJ but they can't be THAT different. Adele safe for #1 this week, but Rihanna could challenge next week. October 27, 201113 yr Yup, it's #1 on the Hot 100 again :dancing: Still #2 on Radio Songs (up 3% to 148m AI) though despite being #1 on the airplay chart posted on BuzzJack for like 2 weeks now  Looks like it's not gonna get #1 there... Latest on the 'Adele chart records and achievements bulletin': she's only the fourth female solo artist in Hot 100 history to have 2 songs each spend 5+ weeks at #1 within a calendar year, joining the ranks of Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and, er, Monica. If it can stay #1 for one more week she'll be alone alongside Beyoncé for two songs spending 6 or more weeks at #1 in a calendar year. Although I think it'll be ousted by Rihanna next week. October 27, 201113 yr Another week at the top :o Fantastic news! Never expected SLY to be this big in the US
November 2, 201113 yr The weekly update time :P SLY down to #2 on the Hot 100, holing at #3 on Digital songs (down 14% to 150k). But it's not all bad, because it's finally climbed to #1 on Radio Songs :cheer: Down 1% to 147 million AI but at least it now has the recognition as her second radio #1 as well as her second digital and Hot 100 #1. '21' has increased in sales by 1% to 107k - but despite that it's dropped from 1 to 4, due to the newies from Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Bublé debuting ahead of it. Nonetheless a 36th straight week in the top 5 (and the top 4) :dancing: I wonder if she can beat her run in the UK of 39 weeks in the top 5 (and also in the top 4 as well)?

What is the US #1 now then? Rihanna? Is Coldplay the #1 US album?
November 3, 201113 yr What is the US #1 now then? Rihanna? Is Coldplay the #1 US album? Yes, Rihanna is #1 and Coldplay #1 in the albums (Kelly #2, Bublé #3).
November 3, 201113 yr Yes, Rihanna is #1 and Coldplay #1 in the albums (Kelly #2, Bublé #3). Thanks Bray :D
November 4, 201113 yr Wow who knew SLY would be #1 on radio in the US. Incredible achievement! :D So deserved too!
November 9, 201113 yr Latest US chart movements: Down to #3 on Hot 100 (overtaken by LMFAO) #1 for a second week on Radio Songs (142 million, down 3%) Non-mover at #3 on Digital Songs (144,000, down 3%) Its digital sales were falling rapidly the last few weeks but its descent seems to be slowing a bit now :D
November 23, 201113 yr US chart movements for last 2 weeks (I'll keep posting this until it drops out of one of the top 10s, most likely digital): LAST WEEK Non-mover at #3 on Hot 100 Down to #2 on Radio Songs (128 million, down 11%) - re-overtaken by MLJ, dropping rapidly now because of Xmas music I think? Down to #6 on Digital Songs (143,000, down 1%) THIS WEEK Non-mover at #3 on Hot 100 Down to #8 on Digital Songs (137,000, down 4%) No figure or position is given for it on Radio Songs this week but it's fair to assume it'll be #3, overtaken by We Found Love. Its chart run on the Hot 100 is now thus; [65-x(19)-97-85-73-57-51-34-19-1-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-2-3-3-3] 12 weeks in the top 3, matching 'Rolling In The Deep' - hopefully it can beat that and get a thirteenth week in the top 3 next week :D -x- Glee Cast's "Rumour Has It / Someone Like You", by the way, is new at #5 on Digital Songs with 160k (fifth biggest Glee opening after TD, LLM, FY and DSB) and straight in at #11 on the Hot 100 :D Edited November 23, 201113 yr by Bré
December 2, 201113 yr Down two to #5 on Hot 100 (13th week top 5). Up a place to #7 on Digital Songs but down 10% week-on-week to 114k (still enough to take it past the 3 million mark though :cheer:) Down two to #5 on Radio Songs. Glee Cast - Rumour Has It / Someone Like You down to #62 on Hot 100. '21' has left the BB200 top 5 for the first time (3-7) :( Managed 39 weeks top 5, exactly the same as in the UK. Still had a pretty big sales increase though, it's just been forced down by three new entries from Nickelback, Rihanna and Mary J. Blige plus Bieber increasing faster. December 7, 201113 yr Down to #6 on Hot 100, #9 on Digital Songs (94k, down 24% - shame to see it dropping below 100k but it had to happen some time or other I guess). '21' all the way back up to #2, sales up 2% to 144k - everything that was ahead of it last week except 'Christmas' has plummeted.
December 8, 201113 yr This might get a minor US iTunes boost, Melanie sang it (in a dance arrangement bizzarely) on X-Factor last night: uq1ntIZ0Xlg
December 9, 201113 yr So much contradiction there :P I really liked it, maybe she should've just done an actual dance song and just saved SLY until another week where she could've done it as a ballad instead though, because her doing SLY ballad version would've epic and then some I imagine.

She sang it well, but this song is supposed to be a ballad and left that way :P
December 16, 201113 yr Down a place to #10 on Digital Songs this week, selling 84k (down 10%). Probably won't be top 10 there for much longer then but Set Fire To The Rain will take its place anyway - they're both top 10 on US iTunes (SFTTR #7, SLY #8). Also down one to #7 on Hot 100 - 15th week in the top ten. RITD managed 19 weeks top 10, hopefully SLY will match that. '21' is down one to #3 but another big sales increase for it - up 30% week-on-week to 187k :cheer: Edited December 16, 201113 yr by Bré
December 21, 201113 yr Someone Like You #41 on itunes right now  Edited December 21, 201113 yr by Rob Summers
