So happy Need You Now is re-peaking

Just it shame it took THAT for people to download it...

It is a very good song, glad to see it doing well! just seen it has sold 5 million copies in America! wow
"Dark Side" to #45. It's been climbing really nicely throughout the day! It should hopefully climb into the top 30 by the end of tomorrow!

How far ahead is Gary from Flo Rida?

I just posted the table, pretty sure it's rather feasible to work it out from there :D

Woah, that's huge for a country song :o The only other example of that I remember is Carrie Underwood - Before He Cheats, year end #6 in 2007. I guess Love Story must've made it high-ish as well. Usually though, country songs trickle sell (like If I Die Young, only peaked at #14 but has sold like 4.5 million because it charted for over a year in the top 40), funnily enough Lady Antebellum is doing just that over here  It must be on a good total despite the peak, anyone know?

Euphoria's in freefall now, it'll have a chart run like a McFly single :( So undeserved, I wish the media had properly supported it.

Love Story got #5 in 2009. And You Belong With Me also got #11 that year. That was a big year for Taylor! :o

One example of a country song getting year-end #1 there was Breathe by Faith Hill in 2000 (it did a "Love the Way You Lie" there, as in it never got weekly #1, but got the year-end #1 ).

If you count Nickelback as a country band, then How You Remind Me also got year-end #1.

Wow, Flo Rida coming for that #1 iTunes spot RAPIDLY he should be #1 by midday tomorrow if he continues at this rate.

OH GOD NO. They do NOT belong to my favourite genre and have no place anywhere near :P

Breathe  What a song. Notice the pattern of these country hits all flopping in the UK  Love Story aside of course.

43 now ^_^ she was on The One Show before I think

Whistle is going to be Huge this week... I think 60-70K without 2 days of selling.

I'm pretty sure Need You Now isn't a country song? I like it for a start. I abhor country music: i can't stand the samey ukulele backings and the god-fearing accents they sing in. :puke2:

Whistle eating into Gary's lead is pleasing!
