The concert is getting repeated this afternoon -_-

Another chance to that breathtaking performance from Gary & Cheryl then. :manson:

I just realised that the Jubilee concert could well push some other older albums back ahead of '21' (for example Ed Sheeran) - I think it's probably going to drop out of the top 10 this week even if it does overtake most of the newies that entered ahead of it last week :( Wouldn't be annoyed about that if it hadn't timed it to the EXACT week it would have equalled a longevity record. It'll still most likely equal/beat it in the future with re-entries but a consecutive run would have looked a lot better. Ah well, she's broken enough records already I suppose :kink:

:( I hope Adele manages to hang on! It would be incredible if she did! I think she may stick at #10 at best, but more likely drop out to #11-#13! If only she performed at the Jubilee concert (she could be back at #1 this week)...

Yep, Adele going for a 72nd consecutive week in the Top 10!!

I can't think of the last album to achieve this!

Robbie's Swing album could make an appearance! Especially with sales so low over in the album charts

OK, predictions are as followed

Gary for No.1, good performance at Jubliee, starting to like that song

Re-entires for Domino, Sir Duke, Congratulations, Need You Now etc

Kylie will drop out, SHE DIDN'T SING IT ON JUBLIEE

Because of the Jubliee, many songs will also drop badly, Tulisa the main victim.

What new Beatles album is out?

What new Beatles album is out?

It's not new, it's just a re-release of Yellow Submarine Songtrack (also being released digitally for the first time I believe). The Beatles re-releases almost always go top 10 again though :P

Other than the new Kylie GH, will any of the Jubillee performers have an effect on the album chart? Supermarkets won't be stocking the Robbie/Stevie/Beatles etc albums, and I'm not sure how much iTunes albums sell these days

Alexandra is apparently at #14, only 8 copies ahead of #15.

OH DEAR.

Oh dear - at least Pixie Lott, The Saturdays etc. had the 'excuse' of being Q4 releases, Alexandra would literally only have to sell 10k if that to make the top 10 :o
Gosh, I'd imagine she'd only fall throughout the week as well.
I read Bo Bice and was like WTF

If only :( Do you remember that Scotty McCreery charted erroneously on the midweeks about a year ago? Actually I wonder if there's any mileage in a list of songs that charted top 40 on midweeks when they shouldn't have? I have two:

Scotty McCreery - Do I Make You Proud

Agnes - Big Blue Wall (if only this one had been true :snif:)

Worrying for Alexandra, as the fans would have purchased upon release so she will fall throughout the week, she will be lucky to hold a Top position come Sunday, i believe it has number 21 written all over it.
Alexandra only #14? I thought her album was high in the pre-order charts of the different websites.

I remember that Agnes song was in place of a Skepta song (Rescue Me?) - what was the Scotty song replacing though? IIRC the same week as Scotty there was also another random American Idol person supposedly charting.

EDIT: Found the thread (it's the only previous thread in the UK chart forum to contain the word 'McCreery') and the other peron who charted with Scotty was Stefano Langone with 'Hello'. The Scotty song was 'For Once In My Life', not 'Do I Make You Proud'. They don't seem to have charted in place of anything else, just a random error - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds also had a B-Side showing up in the top 40 in the same update.
